"Okay!" Poland declared, clapping his hands. "I have, like, written instructions from each and every one of you to totally tell me what I can and can't pick out. So! What we're going to do, like, first is line up so I can study you."

We rolled our eyes and lined up, Kadi included. He passed up and down, studying our frames, making little noes on his clip board. Seriously. He was taking this like it was his job or something.

"Okay!" he finally exclaimed, sliding his pen back into place. "Let's go!"

We went into one store and Poland combed the racks until he had scrounged up a white see-through shirt and a green tank and had Kiana try it on. My daughter did so, and we all nodded, approving. It was a keeper. Poland pulled her hair back in a high pony tail and studied her before dropping her long dark locks. He nodded and shooed her back in to change while he rummaged around for a peach colored top. He turned to Alice and shoved the sheer bundle into her arms and her into the dressing room that Kiana had just evicted.

When Alice came out of the room, Feliks nodded his approval.

"Yes, yes, perfect! I'm on a roll."

Alice smiled and disappeared back into the stall. The Polish man turned to the rest of us with a frown. Out came his clipboard so he could study the contents on the sheet. Finally he payed for the items as we went to another store. This one had a darker atmosphere, making me think of Romania. He rummaged around the store before somehow finding some not-so-gothic items. There were some darker blue-jeans for Kiana, navy low-rider flares for Alice, black skinny jeans for Nai, and a black miniskirt for me.

Why am I the only one with the skirt...? I wondered while Feliks shoved us and our bundles into different changing rooms. There was a yelp from Kadi and a door slamming shut next to me and I grinned while my landlord muttered a string of profanities in Basque.

While I shimmied out of my jeans, a red streak came sailing over my door, with my fashion expert ordering me to wear that as well. I picked up the red leather and deadpanned.

"Oh, hell to the no!"

"Please, Anahi? You'll look totally awesome!"

"This has to be a Miley Cirus hand-me-down. No way!" I chucked the horrid article of clothing back over the door and heard Feliks exclaim in pain. Good. I had hit him.

A little bit later something was draped over my door. I looked to see a red single strap top with a black ruffle around the upper hem. I relented and put it on, coming out of the stall to meet Feliks' approval.

"You'll look drop-dead gorgeous, girl!"

I rolled my eyes, but a smile was still playing on my lips. However, I was shoved back into the stall to get changed. When I came out, Kiana and Alice were also finished and had their jeans over their arms. Kadi was changing still, and Nali's door was opening. I turned only to have my jaw drop.

The Inuit shyly stepped out of her stall, her black ruffle top swishing gently with her movement. It was sleeveless and set off her dark shoulders nicely. Her legs were encased in black skinny jeans that hugged her rear and showed a thin line of skin where her clothing didn't meet.

"Mein Gott..." I murmured. "Feliks... We might want to go to the hardware store and get some chains for Ludwig... Good grief, girl! You're smokin'!"

Nali laughed lightly. "Not too flashy...?"

I shook my head. "Not at all!"

She smiled and went back in to change. Kylie came out of her stall, fluffing her blond hair as she smiled at Poland. She was wearing a black, off the shoulder, long sleeved shirt that laced up the sides of the torso and sleeves and blue jeans. Feliks smiled in return, walking over to her and wrapping his arms around her. He leaned down and whispered something in her ear and she blushed, but still smiled. Once he had soaked in the sight of his girlfriend he told her to go back and get changed so we could buy them. I smiled as Kylie kissed him quickly before going back into her stall.
