4) First Meet

"Husband? You're a monster and I'll never consider you as my husband"

Her words kept ringing in my ears. I closed my eyes in frustration and shut the laptop.

Damn.. it hurts!

I couldn't concentrate on anything else. I had fear in my heart. I can't loose her again. I don't care if she doesn't love me back , but I want her safe and I want her besides me. Now I feel like , letting her stay back home was a bad idea. I quickly grabbed my intercom and enquired about her. They told me that she's still inside the room.

My chain of thoughts came to an end point when Arjun walked inside my cabin. I pretended to work , even though I couldn't fix my mind on anything.

"Mr. Ray just called off the meeting. He's returning back to Paris today"he said and I just nod. He noticed my sullen face and quickly guess the reason

"How is she?"he asked and I stare at him laptop blankly

"Hating me to the core and nothing else"I said

"She's just broken Adi but still you don't deserve all the hatred she's showing you. You never did anything wrong. Don't hold it back. Say everything to her"he said and I shook my head

"She needs time Arjun. I want her to comfortable around me and she will never believe me if I say the truth"I wince at the thought

"You have proofs Adi. Her father is the biggest proof I'm I right?"he asked

"Yes he is. But I can't break her heart anymore Arjun. The moment she will get to know about that disgusting man probably she'll try to end her life. She had so much trust on him. I don't want to see her like that"I said and a sudden silence occupied the surroundings.

"Sarah left me a message. She's so broken as well"he said and I think about her. I feel bad for hurting her. She'd been with me during tough times and in return I couldn't do anything to her.

"Did you talk to her?"I asked and he nod

"She's so Angry on you Aditya. Never gave me a chance to explain"he said and I smiled sadly

"Let it be. I don't deserve her love anyway. I'm glad that she realised that I'm not the one for her"I said going through a blank document.

Arjun quickly left the room when he got a call while my mind Kept rushing back to old memories.

Flashback - 2 Months ago

ADS FASHIONS , NewYork

"Aditya sir is in a meeting madam. It will end in 15 minutes" the receptionist spoke making Sarah gasp

"15 minutes? Tell them to leave him alone as soon as possible. Tell them that his fiance is here to meet him and I hate waiting"Sarah said folding her arms across her chest.

"But madam he's in a meeting. If we connect him now---"she cut her off

"It's okay just connect to him. I need to talk"she said stubbornly.

"Hi Shorty"Arjun walked in at the right time. She glared at him , keeping her hands on her hip.

"Go to hell"she shouted

"Okay thanks"

"Wait. Where's your friend? He isn't picking up my calls"Sarah said approaching him

"What? Aditya Devansh isn't picking up his fiance's call? I can't believe it"Arjun grinned making her blush

"Where's he?"she asked making him chuckle.
