This building which served as a refuge during the Goblin raid turned out to be some sort of a city hall, or village hall in this case.

According to the village chief, the representatives of each house gathered in this place once a month to discussed various matters and problems that the village was facing as a community.

Leon appreciated the fact that they realize the importance of sharing information with each other. Without a strong network of information sharing system, the village will face various troubles caused by miscommunications due to the intentions of each representative failed to be heard.

In his experience of leading multiple companies, such thing was indispensable. Leon even procured a whole floor in Riveria Conglomerate Tower to serve as a meeting site for him and all the representative of companies under him.

Base from the fact that this village did the same in investing a site to share information, Leon's impression of the village chief and other villagers raised.

As they arrive at the meeting table, each houses' representatives takes a seat naturally as if they know where each other usually sits at.

Leon is led to an empty seat by a woman in her twenties. She held his hands and tried to get close to him.

Voicing his thanks and smiled to the women as he sits down, he noticed the presence of a familiar blonde haired girl, staring at him from across the room.

He then returned the gaze of the girl he saved during the previous predicament with a smile.

Meeting his gaze, the girl panicked and went red to her ears. She then bowed at Leon and lowered her head in embarrassment.

Seeing such a cute gesture of a beautiful girl didn't fazed him as much as it would other men, but he still smiled pleasantly at her. Mostly due to amusement at her gesture and relief at her well being.

The village chief started the meeting and turned to Leon, bringing him back into reality.

"Well then, Mr. Leon. Our village would like to reward you with anything you want. Although we may not have too much money to pay you for saving us, we ask for you to still receive or gratitude."

"I appreciate the thought. However, I can not receive a reward for just doing what anyone would've done."

Leon declines as he lowered his head slightly to the village chief.

The village chief, visibly surprised at Leon's humility, began to have a troubled expression.

"We can not do that, Mr. Leon! As someone who has saved our lives and the village itself, you must be equally remunerated!"

"Ah please call me simply by Leon, Village chief. Well then how about this? Rather than money, I would like for a few request. Will that be fine?"

"Yes! Yes of course! We will give and do anything you wish for."

His expression turned 180 degrees. The village chief sounded glad and was willing to cooperate with Leon.

"Thank you very much."

Leon, again, displayed his brightest smile he could make on his face, making several young women weak on their knees.

"Then, firstly. I would like for everyone in this village to not tell anyone about me."

He continued as the whole room listened to his every word seriously.

"If any city officials, guards, or whoever they may be come to ask what happened, please just tell them that a random adventurer stumbled upon the fray and decided to help."
