Chapter 37.2 ~ Lily's Date

Without further ado, here's the second part of this week's chapter!!

After they finish going around the food stalls, Lily's attention was caught on a certain thing in an accessories shop. It was an ornamental hair clip with red flower and crimson gem.

Wow, it's so pretty. The color is similar to Leon's eyes.

Leon noticed Lily staring at the hair clip and asked her.

"Lily, do you like that hair clip?"

"Eh? No- I mean yes... Ah! But you don't need to buy it! It looked expensive and I don't think it would suit me."

"Not at all. I think it would suit your golden hair very nicely. Also, don't mind the price. Think of it as something to commemorate this day and thanks since I also had fun."

"Eh? But I also had fun!"

"That makes me happy, but I want to buy you this."

"But..."

"Okay, Lily?"

"O-Okay... Thank you very much, Leon."

"You are very welcomed."

The two went to the shop and bought the hair clip. It was slightly pricey since there was a red gem in the middle of the red flower. But considering that the shop was a high end shop and the hair clip was made very nicely, it was a fair price. Also, he had received an initial payment for the behemoth materials so he had quite a bit of money.

"Here."

"Thank you very much! Uhm, Leon... Can you put it on me?"

"Okay."

He never put on a hair clip to somebody else so he wasn't quite confident if he could do it nicely. But since it was her request, he decided to do his best.

"There you go."

"Thank you, Leon!"

Lily was in a daze, staring at the mirror while touching the hair clip. Leon felt happy that he managed to make her happy and see her smile.

And once more, the unknown warm feeling filled Leon's heart once again.

"Welcome back! So... How did it go?"

Mia immediately greeted them after Leon and Lily entered the room. She was giggling and smiled teasingly towards Lily.

Vyra, Charlotte, Alex, Freya and Rafael were also gathered in the room hanging out together.

"I-It was really fun..."

Lily was saying that in a low voice while blushing.

Just with that one sentence and how she acted, everybody in the room knew exactly how it went.

"Ah! Having fun with darling all by yourself! Darling! I missed you so much!"

Freya flew towards Leon and hugged him.

"F-Freya... I can't breath..."

"Ah! It tickles. Darling, you perv."

"F-Freya! You're suffocating him."

"Eh... Wait, Lily. What is that on your hair?"

"...It's a hair clip Le-Leon bought for me."

"What!"

"Heh, nice going Leon."

Freya froze as she looked at the hair clip while Rafael smiled at Leon.

"Wow, it's really pretty."

"It suits you, Lily."

"How envious..."

Mia, Charlotte and Vyra each gave their opinion as they looked at the hair clip on Lily's hair.

"Darling! We're gonna have fun tomorrow, okay?! Let's buy a wedding ring at that! Okay? Okay, darling?!"

While Freya went into a rampage.

"F-Freya calm down."

It was no use. She continued mumbling about outrageous things she wanted to do tomorrow on their date.

"Freya! Calm down."

Leon hold her face up and looked at her in the eyes. Freya managed to snap back into reality and began calming down as she looked back into Leon's eyes.

"Hah...Hah... Sorry, darling."

"It's fine. Have you calmed down?"

"Hah... Yes..."

Freya turned towards Lily and declared war.

"Lily. I'm not going to lose okay! Darling will be mine!"

"I-I'm also not going to lose!"

"Vyra too! If you're not clear, you're going to be left in the dust you know?"

"Eh?! Ah, I'm not going to lose either!"

The three girls made some kind of declaration.

"...What are they talking about?"

"Hah... and this guy is in the middle of it."

Mia sighed for some reason which Leon failed to understand.

He then remembered about the unknown warm feeling he felt sometimes when he was with Lily, Vyra and Freya. He thought that maybe Mia or Rafael could give him the answer to what that feeling meant.

He felt that it was a really important feeling that he may lost because of his past.
