AN: So sorry for the late update >_<! Honestly, lost track of time from writing many other stuff. SAO FF, Mahouka FF, Tensei Slime FF, Code Geass FF, etc. I want to publish them but I'd like to finish at least one arc so... Oh, writing these doesn't mean I'm abandoning Grandeur Fantasia. GF is my baby! So, don't worry! Just a little bit of a late update. Hope you enjoy it~

"I-I won't do something like that!"

"...F-Freya, please. We're just going to talk."

Although reluctantly, Freya let go of her darling and Leon went to talk with Julia on the side.

"Is this about your offer of becoming a substitute teacher, Ms. Julia?"

"Yes. It seems Iris had told you about it."

"Yes. But may I hear more about the details?"

"I understand. This request comes from my sister, the headmistress of the Royal Academy. After hearing about the Dark Hero and uhm... about your magic and martial arts from me... She became interested in you and wanted you to help the class you'll be assign to in the upcoming academy tournament. I-I'm sorry."

The Royal Academy tournament is a yearly event where exceptional students can display the progress they've made in magic and swordsmanship. Through this event, the kingdom could find potential recruits as a court magician or knights for the kingdom. Thus, making it one of the largest event for the royal academy.

Knowing this, students would do their best to show their abilities. Their future prospects would be secured the moment they catch the eyes of the kingdom.

"It's fine Ms. Julia. As the headmistress of the Royal Academy, I'm sure she'll hear about me sooner or later. Though I don't see why she'd want me to become a substitute teacher. I don't have any experience in that area and I'm sure there are others who excels in both magic and swordsmanship. Moreover if she wants to entrust me with making sure that the students will be able to perform to the best of their abilities during the tournament."

"You're too humble, Leon! Both your magic and swordsmanship are peerless! Not only can you fight against Sir Verand on equal terms, your magic spells are all incredibly interesting! And well uhm, the biggest reason why she wanted you might be because of that. You've seen how I act towards something related with magic right? Now times that by 10..."

"..."

...The two shared an awkward silence. Julia was one of the most lively person he had ever seen all his life. And to think the headmistress will be 10 times as lively as she is to things related to magic.

"And she's very interested in you and the members of Crimson Lightning. So..."

"Hah... I understand. In turn, may I be permitted to access the Academy's library?"

"Of course. She also said you are free to go to Arlenia forest, the forest near the Academy, if you wish to experiment with your magic. Though I'm 99% percent sure it's so she can watch you use your magic..."

Leon then thought of using this chance to train with Lux and Noir, and trying out his other equipments. Especially the ones he made for a new character he wanted to start before he was transported to this world.

"Thank you very much. However, I will probably be busy moving into the mansion granted by his majesty and other things. When will I start?"

"Ah it's fine. My sister said you can start anytime before 2 weeks from now. Thank you very much for accepting my sister's selfish wish, Leon."
