"The one who defeated the calamity class monster, behemoth, is Leon Misteltein."

Gera said so resolutely.

"Does he has a unique spell which could defeat the behemoth?"

"I don't know. He might have a one but I don't think he defeated the behemoth with it."

Gera answered Yves.

"What made you so sure?"

"He wanted to sold one fourth of the behemoth to the guild which was the reason I needed to take the money for it here. I thought he would just cut up small parts of it which would total up to one fourth of the behemoth. But instead, he literally cut up the behemoth into four parts and handed one fourth of it to us. I assume he used some sort of 'art', most probably a sword art."

Similar to skills in Grandeur fantasia, art gives the user a large increase in fighting power for a moment. Leon's <<Skill: Heavenly Slash>> may be seen as a sword art, although its level was beyond any art in this world. There are various type of arts in this world such as sword art, spear art, bow art, etc. which is equivalent to sword skill, spear skill, and bow skill. However, unlike the system of obtaining skills just by spending skill points in Grandeur Fantasia, there was no concrete requirements in obtaining an art. There were various hypothesis that one could obtain an art after overcoming hard training, mastery of their weapon or surviving encounters with death.

"...I see. To be able to cut through a monster that big with mithril level of toughness that easily. What an interesting boy."

In addition, based on the reports about his strength compared to the rest of his party members, the other guild masters also seemed to be convinced that it was the case.

"After their return, I've promoted all members of Crimson Lightning to rank B. However, I want to promote Leon Misteltein to rank A. I believe I've given the reason for my decision."

Promotion to rank A was incredibly rare since there weren't many people who could achieve it. It was a rank given only to the best of the best adventurers. Even though there is still rank S, the people who had achieved it were in the realm of legends such as the heroes who managed to prevent the two calamity class monsters from inflicting a larger damage to the world.

Although he was overrun when the catastrophe class and armageddon class monster appeared, his strength was still leaps and bounds beyond the normal strength of a regular human adventurer. Hearing this from Mia, Leon was also surprised at how powerful the S ranks were to be able to handle two calamity class monster which was on the same level as the behemoth. Although he was able to defeat one, two of those would bring Leon troubles, given that there weren't any of his player assistants there to help him.

In addition, Rank A promotions would only be given when the guild masters of that nation agreed to it. Since they would need the acknowledgement of all guild masters, A rank promotion was incredibly rare.

"I'll agree to it."

"Same."

"I have no problem with him promoted to rank A."

"He has the ability to defeat that monster after all."

"Not to mention he's able to use magic to."

"And his personality is something Gera approved of."

All guild masters voiced their agreement for Leon's promotion, except for one.
