"It is an honor to meet you. My name is Leon Misteltein, leader of the adventurer party Crimson Lightning."

Leon bowed courteously and smiled. However, before anyone could say anything, Julia jumped on Leon and put her hands on Leon's shoulders.

"So Leon! I heard from Ms. Yves, but is it true that you can use magic arrow?! I've only heard of it's existence from legends! Many of us had tried to recreate it, but we could only create arrow-like mana condensation! But... BUT! To think someone could actually use it! PLEASE SHOW ME!"

Taken aback by the sudden outburst of the beautiful bespectacled woman, Leon looked at her with surprised eyes, unable to say anything.

"Calm down, Julia. Can't you see that Leon is troubled?"

"But your highness! This is magic arrow we're talking about you know?! Because of its rarity, no one could have a solid image of it. And even if they did manage to do it, it won't be usable in battle. But with this, there will be a new type of magic!"

Eh, is that really how it is?

Leon was surprised at how difficult it was to successfully use magic arrows. Although she has seen a real magic arrow in action, Lily was able to learn it in a few days and comfortably use it after several weeks.

Her ability to learn was indeed very high. She's maybe even on par with Leon, and her desire to learn was also similar. Was that the reason why she was able to do something that even a high ranked magician couldn't do? Or was it a hidden talent?

Leon wanted to conceal the fact that Lily could use magic arrows. However, that fact was already known so it was useless to hide it this late. Rather it would cause more suspicion to do so now.

Then, it would just be better to tell them outright.

"It is fine, your highness. I understand Ms. Julia's curiosity of an unknown magic spell."

"...I understand."

"However, as expected, I can't fire a magic arrow in this banquet."

"T-Then! Can you please tell me how you do it?! Ms. Yves also told me that you've taught it to one of your party members!"

Ms. Yves... Just how much did you tell her?

Leon looked towards Yves and saw her smiling and winking mischievously at him. It wasn't that big of a problem to tell the head of the royal court magicians of the kingdom such a thing. But Leon still thought that she told Julia partly just to mess with him.

"Isn't it fine, Leon? I too wish to learn more about it. And I don't think it is something that could just be easily done so there's no need to fear the possibility of it being used for evil."

"I understand. Since Ms. Yves and Ms. Julia are very interested, I will share what I know."

Leon then started explaining about the basic concept of magic arrows and how Lily learned it to the two of them. Though he told them that he learned it from his mother rather than from Grandeur Fantasia.

The sparkles in Julia's eyes increases exponentially as she listens to him and Yves's expression seems surprised and filled with curiosity. Even the princess and the royal guard commander were listening to him attentively.
