Chapter 48

It was the time of night but the weather was quite cold. Muskan came to the dining area where Sameer was already sitting. Muskan was surprised to see him. No one was there except them. Muskan looked down and Sameer too looked down. Muskan came to the dining area and sat in the opposite direction. Sameer was looking at her. He lowered his gaze.

Sameer: I wanted to go to the hotel but Chachu didn't let me go.

Muskan took the jug and glass and she starts pouring water for her.

Muskan: I don't care, you live here or in any hotel.

Sameer was hurt. Muskan drank water and she goes to the kitchen side. Sameer was looking at her. He thinks. Muskan helped her aunt to arrange the dining table and then they sat. They silently had dinner.

After dinner.

Sameer: Now, I should go.

Muskan heard that but she didn't raise her head.

Chachu: but where will you go?

Sameer: to the hotel.

Chachu: you can live here.

Sameer looked at Muskan and got no reaction.

Sameer: No, I should go.

Muskan: no need to go anywhere. Heavy Snowfall is forecasted today, stay here tonight.

Sameer smiled by thinking that she still cares for him. Muskan got up without looking at him and she goes. Sameer and others were looking at her.

Chachu: come, I show you, your room.

Sameer nodded and they got up.

Sameer and Chachu came to the room. Sameer saw the room.

Chachu: you have rest. If you need something then do tell me.

Sameer smiled.

Sameer: do you not want to say something to me?

Chachu looked at him.

Chachu: I just want my daughter's happiness and I know, her happiness is with you.

Sameer smiled.

Chachu: take care.

Sameer was looking at him.

Chachu: good night.

Sameer: good night.

Chachu goes and Sameer turned to the room. Sameer looked at the room and then he thinks.

Sameer: I hope, Muskan mujhe jaldi mauf kar de.

Sameer sighed.

The next day was also the same. Sameer saw Muskan only at the breakfast and lunch where they were sitting silently.

Muskan was sitting in her room on the bed and was working on the laptop. She was talking on the phone.

Muskan: ok, send me the details.

Muskan cut the call and she kept it on the bed. Muskan got a mail and she opened it. She reads it and then she looked at the file. Muskan was working and she heard the knock on the door.

Muskan: come in.

The door opened and Sameer entered. He was carrying two cups of coffee. Muskan turned her face and she was surprised to see Sameer who smiled. Sameer showed her a cup.

Sameer: Coffee.

Muskan looked down and then she looked at the laptop. Sameer looked down and then he looked at Muskan and smiled.
