Chapter 43: Into the Woods

(Name) POV:

We spent hours walking. It felt like endless trees and not a single open spot.

"*sigh* how long is this going to take.....?"

"*tired noises*"

"Yeah...... I'm really tired..... we've got to be super far from the factory by now......."

"Well obviously. We've been walking for hours!"

"(Name), you know you can just fly?"

"This is pointless....... it's gonna tale forever for us to find a good spot...... can we just go back to my home?"

"(Name), we can't live in the town, remember?"

"*sigh* right...... but all my stuff is there......"

"I suppose we could wait until night and go back...... but only to get your stuff! And possibly some materials around......"

"Mommy, can you do it? You'll get there faster than any of us."

"Fine...... do you have any bags?"

"Yeah. I've got like 50 in my house. You'll be fine."

"Okay. Why don't you guys take a nap here while I go? It's the evening so it'll be night by the time I get there."

"Sure. Hang on, let me show you what my house looks like."

I draw it out on a map. Then, Mommy takes it and leaves. I look over at Dogday and Huggy.

"Let's take a nap here......"

"I agree."

"*tired noises*"

All of us lay down and take a nap.

(TIMESKIP 10 HOURS LATER)

I wake up and see Mommy carrying a bunch of bags of my stuff. I smile at her.

"You did it!"

"Of course! You doubted me?"

"Nope! Alright, let's keep going!"

(TIMESKIP 3 MORE HOURS)

We were walking through the forest more and more. And finally.....

"Guys! Look over there!"

It was a big empty space. There was water, and plenty of space to build a home.

"We did it! We found it!"

"Woohoo!"

"*happy noises*"

"Yay! Go us!!"

Mommy looked at me and smiled.

"So (Name), shall we get building?"

"Absolutely! New house, here we come!"
