Chapter 29 ~ Lucas

~ Ali's POV ~

I led Alex to the other part of the climbing frame and we both climbed it really slowly. It was so fun and Alex kept on smiling at me making me feel so happy.

We were walking on the climbing frame when I saw one of the guards keeping an eye on us.

I stopped and looked at him.

I waved over to him gently and smiled.

He waved back quickly and went back to his job.

"You saying Hi to the guards?" He chuckled crouching down to my level.

I nodded.

"He's nice." I softly said as I pointed to the man who waved.

Alex chuckled and we kept on going through the climbing frame.

I saw another slide and this one was quite short. I felt brave.

"You go down first." I smiled.

"Sure." He smiled.

He went down the slide and he waited at the bottom.

He held his hands out and I sat down on the edge of the slide.

I was a bit nervous but plucked up the courage and slid down making me giggle quite a lot.

I slid into Alex's arms and he chuckled.

I hugged his warm arms.

He lifted me up by my armpits and with his amazing strength he threw me up a bit and caught me again. This honestly made me feel the happiest I have ever been.

I was laughing so uncontrollably.

I had never laughed this much before in my whole life.

He kept doing it and he was uncontrollably laughing as well.

I was squealing as well from how fun it was.

He then set me on his hip and he was still laughing as well.

"Hey Alex?" I heard a voice behind us.

Alex spun round and saw a man. He looked really nice. But I couldn't tell yet.

"Oh Lucas hello." Alex smiled.

"Hey, how you doing?" Lucas asked.

"Yes, I'm doing great thanks, how have you been?" Alex asked.

"I'm good thanks." He smiled. "Is this your beautiful little?"

"Yes." Alex smiled.

I hadn't realised I had put my arms round Alex and buried my head into his neck. Don't ask me how I didn't notice I wouldn't be able to tell you.

"She's a little shy." I heard Alex say.

"That's okay." I heard Lucas say cheerfully. I didn't want to be rude so I lifted my head up slowly and looked at the man.

He gave me a nice smile.

"Hello." I softly said clutching Alex's shirt.

"Hello." He smiled at me.

I did feel scared but this man didn't feel mean. You can always sense something about someone and I sensed Lucas was really kind.

I heard them talk a bit more and heard Alex tell Lucas my name.

I was so focused on listening to Alex's heartbeat though. Why was I so into this?

I then saw Alex put his hands under my armpits and he started doing the thing he did 5 minutes ago.
