Confused Feelings

Nash's pov

I can't believe what happened to Alyssa, I also can't believe Taylor actually let me come. I know once we get there though Alyssa is most likely going to kill me, maybe both but I'll be first.

I'm currently sitting in Taylors rover with him. We backed out of Alyssa's drive way and headed out to were ever this place is.

"So um how have you been?" I ask trying to make conversation.

Taylor just glares at me then puts his eyes back on the road.

I just roll my eyes and look out the window. I was tempted to say something but I'm not like that so I kept my mouth shut.

"Why are you so mean to Alyssa anyway? She did nothing to you!" Taylor asks out o no were

"Hate is a strong word particularly I would say dislike, but I do not have pure hatred towards her. We always get off on the wrong foot. Mostly this comes from her sudden out bursts and her irrelevant act of violence.." Taylor cut me off

"Ok Nash I asked you a simple question, so stop with that smart ass shit because I didn't understand half of what you just said. So just answer my question. Why are you so mean to Alyssa" Taylor says the last part in a calm time much calmer tone than the rest if his statement was.

"I'm sorry you have the vocabulary of an 5th grader, but really I don't know and the only reason why I'm mean back to Alyssa is because she's mean to me." I tell him getting frustrated

"What are you 5? And I'm the immature one" Taylor scoffs shaking his head watching the road.

"I'm sorry" I say barley above whisper hoping that Taylor didn't hear it yet I want him to.

"For what?" He asks. Wow he actually heard that.

"For being such a dick to you, and especially Alyssa" I say with a sigh leaning my head back looking up at the ceiling of the car.

"Well I accept your apology, but Alyssa I don't think is going to be as easy as me. You really hurt her." Taylor tells me

"I know I have, I'm- I'm just so confused. " I admitted putting my head in my hands pulling on my hair in frustration.

"What are you confused about?" Taylor asks making a sharp turn making me hit my head off the window.

"Ow" I say rubbing my new goose egg on the side of my head.

"Sorry bro" Taylor says trying to hide his laugh but failing miserably. "Anyways answer my question" he tells me

"I'm confused about how I feel" I say looking at Taylor his eyes still on the road.

"Like what do you mean. Like confused on your feelings towards Alyssa. Like you may like her?" Taylor's words come out a bit concerned.

"I don't know maybe" I say still looking at him.

All of a sudden Taylor slams on the breaks almost sending me through the windshield. Thank goodness for me wearing my seatbelt.

"Taylor!!" I shouted

"You like Alyssa!?" He questions/ shouts

"I said maybe I-I don't know I'm confused" I admit shouting a bit, my words coming out in stutters

"Its a yes or no question"

"Fine yes I like Alyssa!" I shout feeling like a thousand pounds have been lifted off of my shoulders

Taylors eyes go wide and I just look at him confused.

"Oh my god" Taylor says still shocked, his eyes looking as if they would pop out of his head any minuet.

"You can't tell her, Taylor I'm begging you please. " I say with a puppy dog face

"Dude I won't, but damn you and Alyssa" he exclaims starting the car up again

"What?" I ask

"I knew you liked her, your so easy to read. Especially if I could tell. And if it makes you feel any better I think Lis may like you as well" taylor says looking at me with a smirk.

"How do you know" I question

"I'm her best friend, you finish the puzzle" he says with a laugh.

I just smile and look out the window shaking my head. Imagining that Alyssa actually likes. That one day I will be asking her to be my girlfriend, and that she'll actually say yes,
