Shalini could contemplate exactly what it was that angered her at that moment, it was something she was constantly running away from. It was another relationship. She didn't want to be alone with him in car, she wanted sleep, she wanted to evade the mess that followed. 'Shalini don't even think about it!!' she warned herself. She fell flat on the bed and closed her eyes. "Shalini!! Shalini!!" She heard a sound within ten minutes. She wasn't ready to face him. "Shalini kadhava thora." He told patiently. "Avinash nalaiku pesalam." She told. "Okay, nalikum pesalam, ippo kadhava thora." He told. "Avinash please!!" She whined getting up and walking to the door when the door opened on its own.
"Lock panlaya?" He asked and she sighed mentally. "Marandhuten." She sighed and he chuckled, again pulling her into his surprise hug that made her stumble lightly. Shalini could just witness, him sighing continuously and struggling to speak. "Okay, okay relax." "Naa edhuvum thappa nenaikala, nenaikavum maaten. I trust you podhuma?" She asked as if she read his mind, he wanted her to say exactly that. " Thank you." He told and pecked her forehead deeply, his kiss expressing what his words couldn't. He wanted to express his emotion through the kiss, so he held her head, elongating the kiss because it helped slow down his raging heart.
Same went with Shalini, the kiss somehow reached her soul. It didn't seem a tad bit sensual nor did it feel like a friendship kiss. He pulled back and cupped her cheeks.
