The family was back home. Shalini's face had a frown as she put the girls to sleep. She walked to Avi's study to find a stressed Avi reading through documents. "Avinash?" She called and he pulled up a smile towards her. "Shalini, idhu konjam late aagum, nee poi thoongu." He advised.
She completely ignored his statement and sat beside him in a chair. "Sorry Avi." She apologized. "Edhuku?" He asked, his eyes grazing the documents. "Illa, naa Aadhu va olunga pathukadha naala dhana neenga meeting vittu vandhu--" She began but he gave her a blank glare. "Nee yendi ellathyum ipdi overthink pannikite irruka?" He whined. "Illa ungluku oru bad name--" she continued.
"Naliku vera news vandha, idha marandhiduvanga." He told. Shalini pouted to this. "Hey! Nee ipdi munjiya vechikita, ennaku epdi work panna thonum? Edhayum yosikama poi paduthu thoongu." He told but Shalini continued to worry. "Shalini..." He called and she looked at him. He turned his chair to face her and kissed her forehead.
"Nejama guilty ah irruku." She confessed. He just kissed her wordlessly and looked at her with intense eyes. "Don't be ..... Ennaku en work endha alavuku important oh, andha alavuku neeyum, Namma kozhandhangalum important." He confessed. "I would give up anything for both, but onnukaga innona ennala sacrifice panna mudiyadhu." He told.
"I love you." She told and kissed his cheek strongly. He closed his eyes and sighed. "Ennaku Vela irrukambodhu dhan ipdi mood change panra maari edhachu pannuviya?" He asked and she chuckled. "Naanum help panren, un vela mudinjadhaku aprom...." She dragged. "Aprom?" He probed. "Aprom paaru." She replied. "Paakren." He added.
The duo continued the work, Avi smiled ear to ear seeing her work again as something similar to his PA. Avi was typing something intently way late in the night when he noticed Shalini passed out with her head rested on the table. He smiled seeing her sleeping face. He pushed her hair away and traced her cheek before placing a peck on her forehead.
He gently carried her back to their room and placed her on the bed beside their girls. He tried to walk away when Samira held his wrist. She hugged it and turned in sleep making it difficult for Avi to leave without disturbing her. He carefully removed his hand and pecked her forehead. He moved towards the door and found his girls cuddled up making him smile at them fondly.
His heart and mind no longer cooperated towards working. He sighed before closing the door shut and walking towards them. He noticed Samira and Aadhira cuddled to each other in one side and Shalini lying down on the other side. He settled in between them and felt Shalini roll into his embrace making him smile.

Avi blinked his eyes drowsily to find Shalini hugging his arm from one side, nuzzled to his neck while Samira hugged him from the other side, her head lying on his chest. Aadhira hugging Samira. His eyes fell on the watch that showed ten am. A knowing smile adorned his lips realising he had found his cure.

Within a few days, Avi's new law released, that was well accepted by the people blowing all of the hate comments away. But the days went hectic for him, for the same. He would come home late everyday, after the twins have slept.
Shalini tried her best to stay awake and waited for him. He arrived home dead tired and noticed Shalini waiting for him by the couch. "Yen ma innum thoongla?" He asked. "Unnakaga dhan wait pannen." She replied simply. "Mani paaru one kitta aagudhu.... How will you manage tomorrow--" his words were cut off by a kiss that ended before he could react.
"Unnakaga naa dhan wait pannuven.... Vera yaaru pannuva?" She asked and he was still looking at her. "Saptiya?" She asked immediately and he composed himself and nodded. "Seri thoonglama?" She asked and tried to move when he held her hand. "Vendam." The reply arrived.
He kissed her lips gently and she closed her eyes feeling it. This somehow felt way better than all the passionate kisses they had shared. His hands slowly wrapped around her waist. They parted the kiss and Avi carried Shalini into their old room.
Finding her lying down there, memories became turbulent waves. He blinked away tears and pressed his lips on her forehead. She held his collar and again pulled his lips into a sensual kiss. Things went nostalgic for Avi, he couldn't handle the flashes of pain that he felt there in her absence. "Shalini vera room ku polama?" He asked with shaking voice. "Vendam." Her reply arrived.
She rolled him down and took charge, knowing it was her responsibility to clean him off the trauma. She unbuttoned his shirt and continued placing kisses down his neck and chest. His hands just held her waist tightly. She traced her fingers through his abs and into his chest.
She nibbled his earlobe and kissed through his jaw. "I am here Avi, inime poga maaten." The words he yearned to hear from her escaped her lips. Avinash pushed her neck towards him slightly and kissed her lips, sucking her lips skillfully. His hands undressed her and his lips talked to her body through kisses.
That night, they made love several times through the night, it was slow paced but steady. The headboard made noises the entire night.....
