i called into the hallway as i stepped inside her apartment.
"baby? you're here..."
she slid around the corner at the end of the hall and speed walked to me.
"hey, i was so worried about you."
she hugged me tightly while i was still not moving.
"don't do that again, please."
it was so hard to not cave into her touch but i remained resistant like i had promised myself. she had to explain herself first.
"hug me back..."
billie pouted as she pulled away but still had her arms around my neck.
"when you told me what was going on earlier."
"baby, i already told you that you didn't need to worry about it."
i huffed and pushed her arms away. i walked to the kitchen to look for something to eat. i haven't eaten all day and i was hungry as fuck.
"will baby, i'm sorry. but i can't tell you..."
i kept ignoring her as i took some vegan yoghurt from the fridge.
"i-i... will, please, look at me."
i turned around harshly.
"billie what could it be that you have to keep a secret from me, huh? i don't want to a-assume anything but this looks really suspicious to me."
billie squinted her eyes.
"what are you trying to say, will?"
i stayed silent.
"are you trying to say i'm cheating on you? 'cause like..."
