"LEO!"
Leo's first impulse to build a portal in the tower below was thwarted by Raph's scream. It was insane - he didn't know exactly where Donnie was. So he created a portal on one of the nearby rooftops while Mikey and Raph jumped over to him. The steel began its way down with a loud screech. Not a second too late, they jumped through the blue glow and landed on one of the buildings a safe distance away.
The three brothers turned in horror to the collapsing skyscraper. It was loud. A terrible rumble of dust and steel.
"No..." Leo whispered and dropped to his knees.
Raph looked horrified and grabbed Mikey's arm, who was now wide-eyed toward the high-rise building as if something was pulling him there.
"No, Donnie! Donnie! No!" Mikey found his voice, and it was filled with grief. All three felt like they were continuing to fall down and death. They were paralyzed by the reality that presented itself to them. It was impossible to survive in there. Impossible.
After a few seconds, the rumble died down, dust filled the air in great billows, and the brothers felt a wave of fainting. The world was pure pain.
