MARGASHISH SHUKLA SAPTAMI
Prema was having the time of her life,
4 months into her pregnancy she had developed quite a taste for tea and floral Scents, So the ladies made a routine to have tea every evening in the Gardens.
They would play little games to keep Prema entertained, like right now they were playing antakshari and it was prema's turn to sing from the letter
'H', the two-year-olds, Prisha and Subhadra would dance every time Prema would sing.
" Hawa Ke Jhonke Aaj,
Mausamon Se Ruth Gaye
Gulon ki shokhiyan jo,
Bhavre Aakhe loot Gaye"
* Prema was pulled to dance by the two little ones.*
* Radha joins them and starts singing*
"Badal rahi hai Zindagi Ki Chaal Zara,
ISI Bahane Kyon Na Main Bhi,
Dil Ka Haal Zara,
Sawaar loon,
Sawaar loon,
Haaye sawaar loon"
* Revati joins them and they hold each other's hands,
The 3 Them start circling Subhadra and Tarika who dance in between.*
" baramade purane,
nai Si dhup Hai!
Jo palke khatkhata Raha,
Hai Kiska roop hai?
Shararte Kare Jo Aise
Bhool ke hizaab jaise,
Kaise usko naam se
main pukar loon,
Sawar Loon!
Sawar Loon!
Sawar Loon!
Haaye sawaar loon!"
* their singing attracts attention from the maids and servants,
even the soldiers positioned for their protection can't help but tune into the beautiful song.*
* The song makes Krishna and Balram abandon their work and come to the garden to see their wives happily dancing,
Balram just stands in the corner
smiling at them and their happy faces but Krishna on the other hand joins them as he twirls Radha around,
Then both the girls Tarika and Subhadra request him to take them in his arms and he obliges and picks them both up and the three of them start dancing completely out of tune,
Making everyone laugh as Prema continues singing*
" Yeh Saari koyale
Bani hai Dakiya!
Kuhu-kuhu mein chithiyan
Padhe mazakiyan!
Inhen Kaho Ki
Na chhupaye kisne hai likha!
Bataye uski aaj
Nazar utar loon!
* Krishna keeps the girls down
And moves towards his pregnant wife goes on both his knees and places his ear on her stomach,
She holds him close as he tries to feel his child, he stands up and pulls her onto his chest by the waist and holds her hand as he gently Sways to her singing.*
" Sawsar Loon!
Sawar Loon!
Sawar Loon!
haye Sawar Loon!"
* he picks her up places her on one of the swings and starts pushing the swing, as she continues to sing."
" Hawa Ke Jhonke Aaj,
Mausam Ruth Gaye!
Gulon ki shokhiyan,
Jo Bhavre Aakar Lut Gaye!
Badal Rahi Hai Zindagi Ki Chal Zara!
ISI Bahane Kyun Na,
Main Bhi Dil Ka Haal Zara!

Just as she finished her song,
Krishna stopped the swing and helped her get up. Then he pulled and into a hug and placed a kiss on her forehead before realising they were in public and letting go of her, they turned around to see everyone watching them and both of them turned completely red as
Prema hides her face in Krishna's chest making everyone burst out into laughter.
After a little while everyone returns to their work but Krishna pulls Prema aside and takes them to their shared Chambers and says," Kuchh Samay Pahle vidarbh Se Ek Patra aaya tha,
Main Chahta Hun Ki tum mujhe ek bar padho."
Then he hands over the letter returned to him by Rukmini, as She reads the letter the small smile on her face becomes gigantic as she Giggles in happiness and pulls him into a hug and says," Tu Meri Kanhaiya Ji!
Der kis baat ki, jitni shighra Ho Sake vidarbh Jao aur mere liye Meri jiji aur apne Aadi Lakshmi ko Dwarika le aao."
Krishna gives her his Million Dollar Smile.
" vah To Main avashya Karunga Kintu Mujhe Tumhari Ek sahayata chahie!"
He makes a pleading face to her
" kya sahayata chahie Tumhen?"
" vah Baat Kuchh aisi hai ki Jab yah Patra Aaya tab main Dau ke sath tha,
Aur Tum To Dau ko Janti Hi Ho
Main kuch bol Pata Uske pahle unhone Apna nirnay Suna Diya, Ki Main Akela Nahin Jaunga aur vah bhi mere sath aaenge."
" huh, yah to acchi baat hai na!
Agar Dau tumhare sath Honge to bhrata Rukmi Ne Agar Kuchh karne ka Prayas kiya to vah unhen rok Payenge."
She says in a duh! Tone.
" han Tumhari yah Baat Sahi Hai Kintu agar tum apni bahan ka Patra Dhyan se padho to usmein साफ-साफ likha hai ki vah Apne bhrata ya Apne Pita Ko Kisi bhi sthiti Mein Hani Nahin pahunchana chahti aur Agar Dau Mere Sath Aaye To nishchit roop se Unka Krodh Kabhi Na- Kabhi phutega,
aage kya hoga Tum Bhali Bhanti janti ho."
The look on prema's face was hilarious as realization dawned on her but then it was replaced by a smile as she said," Dekho Tum Agar Dau ko Apne Sath Nahin Lekar Gaye To vah Bura man Jaenge, aur yadi Lekar Gaye to Jiji ki ichcha Sankat Mein a sakti hai.
to Tum Aisa Kyon Nahin Karte,
Ki tum pahle chale jao aur Rukmani Jiji ka Haran kar lo aur yadi sthiti bigadati hai Toh Dau Sena Lekar pahunch jaenge."
"Yaah bahut Achcha vichar Hai Prema!
Krishna Tum pahle chale jana Aur Main Piche se a Jaunga." said Dau suddenly from behind startling both of them.
Krishna placed his hand on his heart and dramatically said," Dau aise Achanak piche se Kaun Aata Hai?
Aapko pata hai abhi mere pran nikal Gaye use Khidki Se Lag ke Wapas Andar a gaye." Dau whacks his head as Prema bursts into laughter.
Prema tries to breathe between her laughs as she questions," Kya Tumhari Radha se is Vishay mein baat hui hai?"
Krishna nods his head still rubbing the back of it as he glares at Dau,
Prema ignores his childishness and looks a Dau for confirmation he too nods his head and says," Aaj pratah kal Jab Patra aaya tha tab Radha Hamare Sath hi thi." Prema nods and Krishna gives her a betrayed look as he says," Kya Tumhen Meri Baat per Vishwas Nahin Hai!" She shakes her head in no,
He continues his drama as he says," He Mahadev! kya Din a gaye hain?
Ab Pati Se Jyada Jeth per Vishwas Hone Laga Hai Meri Patni ko!
ab Mera Kya Hoga Devi Parvati!"
Prema just ignores him and leaves the Chambers,
he becomes even more dramatic after that as he falls to the floor with his hand on his chest as if his heart is paining and cries fake tears,
Dau whacks him again and leaves the chambers.
He stands up from his place and exits the room mumbling about nobody respecting him in this family.
