Athena: *sighs deeply* How many days?
Elle: *looks at her phone* Twenty-three point five days and twelve hours.
Athena: *blinks* So... twenty-four days?
Elle: *shrugs* Yeah, I guess? I don't know, I hate math.
Athena: Dear gods, help this child.
*later*
Zeus, Demeter, and Poseidon: *chatting by the gardens*
Athena: *standing a few feet away with her arms crossed*
Hermes: Ena! I know you wanna watch Jurassic World so I got us some tickets. What do you say? *holds the tickets up and smiles*
Demeter: I'm feeling parched. I'll be back with some beverages, do you two need anything?
Zeus: Oh, just ask one of the nymphs.
Poseidon: Ah, we have something better than nymphs.
Zeus and Demeter: *raise their eyebrows*
Poseidon: *glances over at Athena and Hermes just a few feet away* Athena!
Athena: *sighs and pats Hermes' chest* I'd really love to but maybe some other time, okay?
Poseidon: Athena, come on. *waves her over*
Athena: *groans and walks over to them* What?
Poseidon: Can you get us some drinks?
Athena: What kind?
Demeter: Iced tea's fine, dear.
Zeus: *nods*
Poseidon: Iced tea it is.
Athena: *sighs and catches Hermes' eye on the way out*
Zeus: I don't even want to ask.
Poseidon: Let's just say I'm gonna be having fun for a while and enjoy this while it lasts.
Athena: *comes back soon enough with three iced teas*
Poseidon: *looks at his glass and grins* I want lemonade instead. Can you do that?
Zeus: Poseidon!
Poseidon: What? You don't see Athena having a problem with it, do you?
Zeus: *looks at Athena*
Athena: Not at all. *forces a smile and walks back to the kitchen*
Demeter: *shakes her head at Poseidon*
Athena: *returns with some lemonade*
Poseidon: *takes a sip* Would you mind adding more sugar to this?
Athena: *groans and snaps her fingers* Done.
Poseidon: *looks at his lemonade and clicks his tongue* You know what? Just get me some Coke.
Athena: *clenches her jaw, grabs the glass, and tosses its content at Poseidon*
Everyone: *looks at Athena in shock*
Athena: Oops. My hand slipped. I'll get you your Coke.
Poseidon: *grumbles* And hurry up, will you?
Athena: On it, boss. *high-fives Hermes on the way in*
Zeus and Demeter: *snickering*
Athena: *walks back out again and hands him the can* Here. It's from the freezer so it might be a bit icy. I know you'll complain if it isn't like that.
Poseidon: Now clean your mess up - *open his can and jumps when the contents explode and spray all over him*
Zeus and Hermes: *burst into laughter*
Demeter: You deserved that.
Poseidon: COLD! IT'S COLD!
