Athena: *leaning against the doorway, watching them* Spider.
Hermes: Ah.
Athena cabin: *yelling inside their cabin, trying to get away from a spider*
Malcolm: *tries smacking it with a broom* It won't die!
Athena: Oh, that's not gonna work. *sips her coffee*
Annabeth: What?
Athena: You need both a god and a demigod to kill it together.
Malcolm: What kind of supernatural spider is that?!
Hermes: *raises an eyebrow at Athena*

Annabeth: Mom, are you going to help us?!
Athena: Oh, look at the time. I have sword training to oversee. *squeezes Hermes' arm and walks off*
Malcolm: SERIOUSLY?! *looks around for something to throw and grabs Daedalus' laptop*
Athena: MALCOLM! ARE YOU SERIOUS?! *yanks the laptop away*
Malcolm: Either this or we burn the cabin down!
Athena: You're supposed to be smart! Think of a better idea!
Malcolm: Mom's not gonna help us! What makes you think they will? *gestures to Hermes and Dionysus*
Athena cabin: *desperately looks at Dionysus*
Dionysus: *pops open a can of Diet Coke and stares back at them*
Athena cabin: *turns to Hermes*
Hermes: *chuckles and steps inside* Fine. Let's kill this spider with the... power of teamwork.
