Yeonjoo gifted me this dress on my birthday, but I didn't get a chance to wear it till now. Guess it was fated for me to wear it today. Just kidding.
I was a little surprised when Hongjoong told he would take me to a special date. We've been on dates before, but I weirdly felt nervous today.
I let out a deep breath. "Calm down, Jisoo. It's just a date."
I checked myself for the last time before picking up my side bag from the bed and heading out of my room.
I slowly walked towards the living room and saw Hongjoong standing there, looking at his phone. He lifted up his head when he noticed me coming.
I stopped in front of him, tucking my hair behind my ear. "How do I look?" For a while, he just stared at me without uttering a single word. "Yah, don't look at me like that."
"Neomu yeppeo! (Very pretty!)" He flashed me his beautiful smile which makes my heart race like crazy.
He nodded. "You look so pretty that I can even die right now."
I chuckled. "You seriously!"
My eyes widened when he suddenly pecked me on the lips, taking me by surprise.
"You love surprises like this, right?" He smirked.
"Uh...Ani!"
"Ani?"
"Uh."
"Uh?"
"Ani! I mean– Ah, just let it pass." I looked away, fanning myself. "When did it get hot in here?" I wasn't able to look at him in the eyes as I was blushing so hard.
"You totally like it."
"Yah, I told you to let it pass. I'll head out first."
Without letting him say anything, I rushed out of the house to calm myself down.
My heart might explode if he continues...

"We reached!" I said, unbuckling my seatbelt.
"What is this place?" Jisoo asked.
"I looked it up and thought it'd be a nice place to spend our special date." I got out of the car first and then opened the door for Jisoo to come out. "Let's go!" Smiling, she took my hand and got out of the car.
