bird boy.

we've always made jokes about how your hair resembles a cockatiel.

it's what olivia and i first made jokes about before we met.

i think it's what everyone notices first.

if they're lucky like i am,

they'll be able to see beyond the odd bird resemblance and see the boy underneath.

i don't think i have ever met someone as kind and caring as him in all my twenty years of living.

no matter what is happening in his life or mine,

he always takes the time to listen.

he does his best to give me advice,

even if i don't always listen.

(sorry).

he's wise beyond his years and he has the biggest heart of anyone i've ever known.

don't tell him but i've always had kind of a big crush on him.

i've written more about him than he'll ever know,

those words are mine alone.

they will live in my journal until the ink fades,

and all that remains is the ghost of what was.

he gives the greatest hugs and he's an even better cuddler.

he somehow has a way of making everything okay.

i thought i'd lost him before,

those were the dullest days of my life.

nothing is ever boring when he's involved.

he always has a way to put a smile on your face.

he's really great at video games despite what you may think.

he's always got his headset on,

i bet right now he's even playing call of duty.

as cheesy as it seems,

i know without him i wouldn't be here right now.

he helped me through the hardest year of my life and for that,

i am forever in his debt.

no matter how many times i shamelessly flirt with him to annoy him,

he always laughs it off.

he's the best person i know.
