the phrase "aim for the moon, even if you miss you'll land upon the stars", always intrigued her.

she knew that the stars were millions upon millions of years old and the ones that are visible are either already dead or are dying.

the light that we see is from a star burning out.

did that mean that she's supposed to work until she's burned out and can't do anymore?

did that mean that everyone wanted her hopes and dreams to die out?

did they want themselves to outshine her until they outshone her?

did that mean they didn't really want her to make it?

do they expect her to fail and land somewhere equally as nice?

"you could've made it but you just missed the mark".

is that what she was to look forward to?

she figured she had the drive to make it to her end goal.

she figured maybe someone out there would support her dreams but the more the thinks about it maybe they're all just being nice to save face.

maybe nobody expects her to make it.

she'd have to try harder.

she'll make it to the moon even if she has to crawl.
