Ariella's P. O. V:

I wait with Arthur and Agravaine in the cover of trees for Merlin to lure the enemy into our trap, surrounded by these forest walls. I'm wearing my armor with my red cape, my hair tied into a braid, both my sword and dagger strapped to my side. I also hold a crossbow in my hands.

"He should be here by now," Arthur mutters.

"Don't worry. He'll make it," I tell him. Just then, a dash of red rushes into view with a bunch of men chasing right behind it. "Right on cue."

A man with long blonde hair throws an axe at Merlin as he stumbles backwards. I stifle a gasp as the axe embeds itself between Merlin's legs. He picks it up and scrambles to his feet, before taking a few steps forward, then stopping once he realises he's trapped.

The enemy approaches him. Merlin is disguised as a knight of Camelot, in order to lure raiders from Caerleon's kingdom that have been attacking Camelot.

I have to admit, my husband looks really good in a knight's uniform!

A short man with black hair walks toward Merlin, now facing them.

He holds the axe at the ready, preparing to attack, if need be.

"Trapped, are we?" The raven haired man asks.

I fire an arrow just as another Camelot knight does, striking two men in the back. This causes their leader and my husband to jerk their heads up, first to the left, then the right, where Gwaine and the others appear beside me. I grin widely and wave sarcastically down at the leader of the raiders, before giving them a mocking salute and blowing my husband a kiss. The leader gives me a dumbstruck look in return.
