WITH HER FACE flushed, Yoshiko tried using her winter magic only to have it not work.

"You can't use your winter magic like that," Ryuko told her. "It's clear you have a fever so stay put, okay?"

Yoshiko pouted.

I hate staying put.

"Hey kid, were you watching that?" Yami asked.

"Y-yes, sir!" Asta said.

"Could you not yell please?" Ryuko asked. "I've got really sensitive ears and so does my sister,"

"What?" Valtos asked.

"Your breathing is a little... irregular? I don't know but it wasn't like that before. You're also sweating a little despite not doing anything. Your eyes are squinted just a little as if you're analysing Yami but it twitches a little so you're actually nervous and not analysing him," Ryuko said.

"No, listen! I really can't! Not right in the middle of a fight. I don't have magic anyway!" Asta said trying to reason with their captain.

"For this, you don't actually need magic!" Ryuko said. "Yami, can I explain it to him?"

"You better pay me 500 yuls afterwards," Yami said.
