The next day, Annabeth was back and everyone was happy. Rebekah had been introduced to her and she found out Annabeth was a hybrid like Kiara. Half siphon and half demigod. Even though she was confused how Annabeth was born since she was a daughter of Athena. Rebekah found Annabeth lovely and knew that Kol will love her.
Right now, the two were drinking coffee at the Java Brew.

"I gotta to say your god or demigod world doesn't make a lot of sense to me. "Rebekah admitted.
"What doesn't make sense to you?"Annabeth asked.
"The way you guys all talk. The way the gods want you to think. Gotta burn an offering to get a parent's attention. It isn't supposed to work that way. People who are close to you aren't supposed to treat you that way. "Rebekah told her.
"You wanna know how I ended up alone on the road in the first place? I started out as a gift to my father. That's how it works with Athena. We're born from a thought in her mind, and then given to a partner she feels connected to. And for a while, I was treated like a gift. My father cared for me. He loved me. I knew it. Then he met a woman. They had their own kids. And to her, I... I wasn't a gift. I was a problem. So I left. I was seven. It isn't the gods who think that way. It's everybody. But at least with the gods you know the rules. Show them respect and they'll be in your corner, no matter what."Annabeth said, feeling she could trust Rebekah.
"Is this how you were found by Will, Grover, Luke and Thalia? Yeah Kie told me. Was Thalia any different than her brother Jason?"Rebekah asked.
"She was tough. I mean, she knew she was a forbidden kid, she just didn't care. When Luke and Thalia found me, Luke cared for me right away. But Thalia... she made me earn it. You know, when we first arrived to Camp Half Blood, we were being chased by monsters. Agents of Hades. Sisters."Annabeth said.
"The Furies?" Rebekah asked.
"Yes. Thalia turned back to fight to buy us some time. Grover, our satyr Protector tried to stop her, but she wouldn't listen. So, at the last moment... Zeus intervened to save her life and... changed her form."Annabeth explained.
"Changed her form into what?"Rebekah asked.
"I was getting to that. As Thalia lay dying... her father Zeus found another way for her to live. A way for all half-bloods to live. A gift to ensure no one in Camp Half-Blood would die the same way. The barrier, to protect them from those who lived for their death."Annabeth continued.
"The most powerful being in the universe's best idea to save his daughter's life... was to turn her into a tree? "Rebekah frowned.
"She was the bravest demigod I ever knew. She fought valiantly, and she met a hero's fate. She met a pinecone's fate. Forbidden children are always in danger, even the strongest ones, even Thalia."Annabeth said.
"Kie told me then with the Golden Fleece, Thalia was brought back to life."Rebekah says.
"She was. And then she joined the Hunters of Artemis, who became part of the hunt, and swore allegience to Artemis and their oath is to never had a relationship with a boy and stay pure. I almost join them but I fell in love with Jason before we broke up. Jason kinda save me from joining them."Annabeth laughed.
"And Kie?"Rebekah asked.
"Nico and Kie blame the Hunters for the death of their sister Bianca. It's a touchy subject. Don't bring it up. Like never."Annabeth said.
"They had a sister?"Rebekah asked.
"She was Nico's full sister. Oldest. When Kie met them, Nico was physically ten and Bianca twelve. The hunters manipulated Bianca after finding out about the demigod world about joining the Hunt. She does so. And a hunter, Zoe, sent Bianca into a quest and Bianca died. Nico and Kiara blamed the Hunters and Lady Artemis."Annabeth sighed.
"How was Bianca?" Rebekah asked.
"She was wise and mature. I mean she raised Nico all by herself after their mother's death. And loyal. If she live longer, I believe she would had been the strongest demigod alive."Annabeth told her.
Annabeth and Rebekah smiled then continued to talk. Rebekah realized with this talk that she had a lot in common with Kiara and Nico. Like her, they had lose a sibling.
Rebekah changed the subject "Do you still talk to your father and your brothers and step mom?"
"Yes, I do. We got a better relationship now. Even with his wife."Annabeth said, nodding before she added "But I'm closer with my demigod half siblings."
Rebekah said, nodding "Will you go to the homecoming dance tomorrow?"
"I don't know."Annabeth admitted.
"You have to come. Please!"Rebekah told her.
"Okay, I will."Annabeth agreed, chuckling.
Meanwhile, Kiara was talking on the phone with Klaus.
"Hey, Nik."Kiara smiled.
"Hey, Love."Klaus said on the other line.
"So how are you?"He then asked.
"I'm good. I just beat in training Nik. So you could say I'm in a good mood. Annabeth is back in town." Kiara smiled.
Kol took the phone from Klaus and said "Really? Where is she?"
"She's with your sister. They went to Java Brew to take some coffee. Please give the phone back to your brother."Kiara chuckled.
"Sorry about that. He's just can't wait to meet her."Klaus told her.
"The way he took the phone from you... I can tell."Kiara smiled.
