It was the middle of the night , feeding time , a task that proved difficult for them as they tried to keep a steady schedule without actually having to speak to each other .

She had her little fist balled up like she was ready to fight if she didn't get something in her stomach soon , her mouth open as she licked Jay's shirt thinking she was in her mothers arms.
She took bottles mostly , but she was still breastfeeding twice a day for bonding purposes .
