Harry's mind revolved around the words Lily had just told him. Even as he climbed up the stairs, another current of students flooding in, a smile remained imprinted on his face. Until he heard a voice in the background. Whatever the person had said, sounded an awful lot like his name...

"Harry!"

Harry snapped out of his thoughts. He looked back, still climbing up the steps. He peered, scanning the crowd for who the person was that had called his name. His eyes stopped on a familiar semi-dazed blonde girl.

"Luna!"

"Harry! I need to talk to you."

Harry gave Luna a look of hesitation, his pace never slowing.

"I...I'm a bit preoccupied, as you can see in the moment.

"You've got no mind in where you're going. You're wasting your time!" Luna exclaimed, her dreamy voice still remaining.

"We'll talk later, okay Luna?" Harry tries to reason, he grunts as a pair of students squeeze past him through a gap that was much too small for two grown teenagers. His shin pressing against the hard metal pole, painfully.

"HARRY POTTER, YOU LISTEN TO ME RIGHT NOW!"

Harry whipped his head around faster than ever, freezing dead on his spot. He looks at the girl with wide eyes, unbelieving of what had just happened.

Luna immediately recovers from her outburst, her face instantly returning to her usual serene expression.

"Don't you remember what Cho said about Rowena Ravenclaw's diadem -" Harry in fact did not remember what Cho said about Rowena Ravenclaw, apologize he chose to remain quiet and listen. Now realizing that he did not want to get on Luna Lovegood's bad side. "-There's no person alive who's seen it...it's occupies isn't it?" It was very much not obvious to Harry. He momentarily thanked himself for not asking the hat to be sorted in Ravenclaw.

Not like the hat would've even considered him being a Ravenclaw in the first place.

"We have to talk to someone who's dead." Luna finished.

Harry's eyes shifted as he realized what Luna was hinting about. He opened his mouth to speak but his words stopped at the tip of his tongue when he saw a soft yet bright light glaze through the glass window that Luna stood in front of.

He went a few steps down, the stairway now empty, with the exception of him, Luna, and a few occasional frantically lost students.

He gazed over at the window. A veil, blue in haze, was falling onto the castle. Part of was reminded of the veil back in the ministry, but he let the thought go. Looking down, practically all of the Hogwarts professors, and a few other adults, were casting protection spells on the school.

"It's very impressive, isn't it?" Harry heard Luna say.

"Yes, brilliant."

Harry looked up, peering at his own reflection through the stained glass for a moment. Looking down once again, he caught sight of another messy-haired brunette with glasses down below. He leaned closer to get a better look, watching as his dad skips over to his group of friends. All of the marauders talking very excitedly, from what Harry could make out.

From the corner is his eye, he spots bright figures down below, running around. He looks in that direction, realizing they're patronuses.

A stag, wolf, dog, and rat, all the familiar shade of glowing blue, circling the castle.

The dementors moved farther away from the castle.

Meanwhile

After the conversation with Harry, Regulus found himself following the others to Salazar knows where. Ron and Hermione had ran off before any of that, most likely to snog he assumed.
