Chapter 37 - Summer

The sun hangs brightly in the sky, scorching the land, one can feel their skin burned just by standing out in the open area for a few seconds.

Summer has arrived.

A woman with a tall figure is walking on the street under an umbrella, her long black hair is sticking onto his sweaty face. A huge residence come into her view and she sighed in relief, she finally arrived. It was her home, Kochou Kanae residence the butterfly estate.

"It's so hot... I think I'm going to melt under this hot. And I'm sweating from all of my body. I really want to take a bath right now."

She just got back from an exterminating demon last night.

Kanae keeps walking until she gets into the butterfly estate front yard, but before she could celebrate her own arrival, her eyes widen in horror. She saw a man with a long ponytail and dark purple haori collapsed on the ground. Behind him, there is a big backpack and silver axe sheathed on the side. It was her important family, Naoto.

He has lived here for almost a year.

The umbrella she's been holding fall to the ground. Kanae runs toward Naoto with worried expression and checked his body for any possible injuries, but she can't find anything weird at all. Kanae slapped Naoto's face lightly a few times, but there are no responses from Naoto.

Naoto's face is full of sweat and he looks pale. Kanae hurriedly dragged him inside to the living room and lay him down to check his condition further. Soon Kanae sighed in relieve.

"It's just a heat stroke."

She placed Naoto head on her lap and keep fanning his face, a cold wind blow through his skin, not long Naoto face already look better than before, it already regain its former color.

After a few hours, the sun starts to set down. Naoto feels very comfortable, he can hear a very beautiful song.
