Steven was riding on Lion's back with Spinel and (Y/n) was riding on Wolf's back as they warped everywhere in Beach City. Steven and (Y/n) have been calling out for Amethyst as they continued their search. They warped to the Big Donut, but nothing. Steven warps back next to Mr. Dewey. "Wait, can I get a couple to go?"
Steven holds up a donut as they stroll through a neighborhood. "Amethyst! I've got tasty donuts! Come and get 'em!"
"I don't think that Amethyst remembers what a donut is." (Y/n) spoke.
"Worth a try. Where can she be?"
They stopped when they heard a crashing sound coming from Onion's house. They entered the garage.
"Amethyst?" Steven peels through the curtains as everyone follows. "Are you in here Amethyst?" (Y/n) calls out.
"What is this place?" Spinel asked. "I-It's an art studio. Amethyst used to come here all the time." Steven explains.
Steven looks over at a painting, but it suddenly blinks causing Steven and (Y/n) to shriek. Their scream caused Amethyst to shapeshift back into herself.
"Amethyst, thank goodness you're okay." Steven gasped. "Thank goodness you're okay." Amethyst mimic. Steven sighs, but smiles. "I'm very not okay, but I've got a plan. I'm gonna get us all back piece by piece. I just have to figure out your pieces. These paintings. Do you remember being painted?"
"Being painted?" Amethyst mimics again.
(Y/n) smiles. She walks over to Amethyst and holds finger guns. "Pew, pew! Do you remember our handshake?" Amethyst shapeshifts into (Y/n). "Our handshake?"
"Singing and dancing, that's gotta be a piece." Steven turns on a light. "Do you remember singing and dancing with us?"
Amethyst still has a curious look. Steven and (Y/n) begins to sing.

They go to Beach Citywalk Fries and order fry bits, and she copies them eating. They go to the Funland arcade and play skeeball but they sit above the machine, throwing the ball into the slot, winning rows of tickets, to Spinel's awe. However, Mr. Smiley catches them and they run away. Amethyst stops in front of Ronaldo as she shapeshifts into him. He quickly takes out his phone, but Amethyst was gone.

They make their way on a train to the Kindergarten where she first emerged. As the song finishes, they make their way to the hillside, overlooking the ocean.
Amethyst holds finger guns. "Pew!" This caught Steven and (Y/n) by surprised. "Pew, pew?" All together they perform their handshake. "One, two, three, hup."
Steven and (Y/n) pull Amethyst into a hug. "Amethyst!"
Amethyst begins to glow and reform. In the sky was was reforming into her original forms until she came back to her current self. She lands to the floor. "Ohh, what happened?"
Steven and (Y/n) run up to her and have her a hug. "Amethyst, it worked! You're back!" They laugh and embrace each other. Then, Spinel comes in and also hugs happpily until Amethyst notices.
She jumps away. "You! Wha -- W-What are you doing here?!"
"So, l-let me explain." Steven said. Amethyst uses her whips to pull Steven and (Y/n) behind her protectively. "Get away from them, you monster!" She noticed Spinel was gone. She spoke from behind them. "A monster? Where is it? No, I don't see it."
Amethyst jumps back. "Aah. You're it."
"Oh!" Spinel flips over them "Ready or not, here I come!" She touches Amethyst's head. "Boop!" She giggles as she running into the distance. "Oh! I forgot to say, "you're it!" She stretches her hand over to touch Amethyst's shoulder. "Okay, tag, you're it" She laughs again and runs away.
Amethyst turns to Steven and (Y/n). "What the heck is this about?"
"She doesn't remember attacking us. She doesn't even remember her injector." (Y/n) explains.
"What the..." Amethyst gasps.
They all gasp, seeing the clouds and area have gotten worse and much darker. Spinel appears behind them again. "Mm, you guys not know how to play tag?"
