Steven rushes over to Greg. "Dad, I've got an idea." He whispers into Greg's ear.
Greg  looked surprised. "Are you sure? Aren't your powers messed up?"
"I can at least try!"
"But what about me? I've never --"
"Come on, Dad. let's duet."
Steven turns to (Y/n). "(Y/n), we might need some help from Sour Diamond." (Y/n) nods and runs over to Sour Cream and explains the plan to him. He quickly agrees to it.
Steven and Greg are in stage was they prepare their guitars. As for (Y/n) and Sour Cream, they are each on one side of the stage as they wait on cue. (Y/n) quickly grabs her tambourine for the show.
"Come on, powers. Work with me here." Steven said to himself.
(Y/n) breathes in and out. "Please let this work."
All four of them nod at each other before beginning to play. As the stage effects flare to life, Steven and Greg play their guitars as they approach each other. Sour Cream and (Y/n) danced towards each other as (Y/n) plays her tambourine. As the four of them played their part, two bright glows engulfs each pair as they fused, followed with a huge cloud of smoke. The crowd cheers.
"Um Greg?" Pearl said nervously.
"Steven? (Y/n)?" Spinel panics.
As the smoke clears, an unfamiliar, four-armed being, bearing a long mane of hair, a wild pompadour, and a double-necked guitar emerges from the mist. Along with the new fusion was Sour Diamond. She was wearing (Y/n)'s clothing with Sour Cream's vest and she was standing in an elegant stance with her tambourine over her head. Sour Diamond took a look at the new fusion and smirked. "Hey there, friend." The new fusion, Steg smirked at Sour Diamond.
"It's a big, old universe out there. And when you're gettin' crushed under the weight of them stars..." Steg throws his jacket to Garnet. "Well, sometimes, you need that special someone to remind you that you're so much more." Steg points and winks at Pearl. "Wha..." Pearl looked confused.

beginning to perform Independent Together and sweeping Buck off his feet with the sheer energy of his guitar strumming.

Steg begins to play his guitar as he uses his powers to bring Pearl to the stage with him and Sour Diamond. Sour Diamond them begins to play their tambourine to the beat as they float they float with Steg and Pearl.

Pearl: Nothing is holding me back now

And isn't the thought enough to lift me off of the ground?

Pearl begins sing her lines. Amethyst hops on stage to join her friends. As Pearl sings, Steg uses his powers to levitate everyone in the sky.

Everyone is floating around as the crowd stares and cheers. Amethyst, Sour Diamond, and Steg mess around as Pearl begins to reform back to normal.

Sour Diamond: High above an endless sea
No one brought us here but me

Sour Diamond sings as Amethyst and Pearl begin to fuse on stage.

Opal: Independent together

Opal summons a guitar from her gem as she joins Steg and Sour Diamond. Lion goes up to Garnet. She hops on his back as Steg levitates the, to the sky. Wolf follows as she runs in the air.

As they were singing in the sky, they failed to noticed a dejected Spinel behind. Steg and Sour Diamond begin to feel weak as they finished their song by landing on stage. Both fusions immediately unfused.
"You did it! Steven?" Greg looked over his son. Steven was sweaty and tired. (Y/n) collapse to her knees as she coughs more and sweat ran through her face. They look over at Spinel as she runs away in tears, feeling rejected. "Wait. Spinel!" They called out.
Opal descends from the sky, defusing back into Pearl and Amethyst.
"Steven, (Y/n), are you both okay?"
"D-Don't worry about us. It's Spinel. We need her to remember how to stop her injector." Steven collapses into Greg's hands. " Pearl, what do you know about her?"
"Spinel? She was Pink Diamond's little playmate. They used to spend ages together in Pink's garden --" Pearl explains, but was stopped by (Y/n). "Garden?"
"That's where they used to play." Pearl said. "So, what's her problem with us?" Amethyst asked.
"I don't know. I haven't seen her in 6,000 years. Something must have happened to her since then." Pearl explains.
"Then that's what we need to find out." (Y/n) stands up, but coughs more. She gasped for air as she falls forward. "(Y/n)!" Sour Creams catches her on time. "Hey, what's wrong?!"
"I-I can feel the disease..." (Y/n) pants.
Before she could get up, an arrow passes near her, scratches her cheek. (Y/n) screams in pain as she held her cheek. Everyone turned over and saw Spinel's friend on top of the open gap of the warehouse.
"Looks like I did made a scratch on you." The male smirked.
(Y/n) glares at the male. "This has gone too far! What is your problem with me!"
The male clenches fists. "You really don't know do you? You haven't figured it out." He then raised his voice. "It's your fault she's forgotten all about me! You've taken everything from me!"
