Scene 1: Supattra tries to get up. She somehow stands up but as she tries to walk, she feels nauseated and falls down unconscious. The nurse rushes in and shouts for help. Other nurses and doctor arrive and take her to the hospital bed. As a staff informs Ren, he rushes in her aid. His eyes fill with tears as he sees her lifelessly lying on the bed. Doctor takes him outside to talk. Doctor: Khun Ren, her condition is extremely critical. We've checked her previous medical data but although her previous surgery was quite successful, she should have been already taking chemotherapy but her body is too weak to withstand it. Ren: What's the probability of her recovery?

(*Ren closes his eyes as he massages his nose bridge) Scene 2: Thyme halts his car in front of his office and sees Hazel walking alone into the office. He furrows his eyebrows. As he enters, everyone greets him. He walks into his cabin to find Hazel waiting for him. Thyme: How are you? (*Hazel smiles feebly mouthing the word 'Sabai') I didn't see Ren with you this morning, didn't he come to drop you? (*Hazel recalls Ren's behaviour and her eyes turn sad) Thyme: You okay? Is something wrong? (*Hazel passes a fake smile and shakes her head) Thyme: You sure? See, I'm not asking you as a boss but rather as a friend, a brother. You can write it down for me. (*Hazel shakes her hand) Thyme: Fine! (*Smiles) Do tell me if you face any problems, okay? (*Pats her head) You can leave now, I'll call you in. (*Hazel walks out but as she closes the door behind her, she breaks down) Hazel's POV: A lot is happening and Ren's silence is killing me from within. I feel like something is breaking into pieces inside me. Even if I want to, I can't meet him, unless he shows interest, I don't want to disturb him. But I'm worried for him. Scene 3: In Supattra's ward, Ren is sitting on the attendant stool, holding his mother's hand. Ren: I wanted to help you but I can't do anything for you. When I'm meeting you after years now, you are in this condition. I don't even know if I should forgive you or love you or hate you? But I can't make myself hate you. I could never do that (*As he cries, tears fall on her hand and she moves her fingers, slowly opening her eyes) Ren: It's time for your medicine. You need to eat something first. Supattra: (*feebly) Son! (*Pats his head) Did you eat? (*Ren nods coldly as he arranges the bed table)
