^Taehyung's POV^

"He thinks I hate him," I muttered, before leaning into Jimin's lips.

"Seriously Tae. It's not a big deal," Jimin mumbled.

I looked at him with a raised eyebrow. "Do you want me to bring up how you behaved when you thought Hoseok hated you?" I asked.

"Hey! Hoseok was a closed book!" Jimin yelled. I glared at him, as Jungkook stirred in my arms. "Sorry."

"We'll discuss this in the morning," I said, removing my arms from Jungkook and turning my back to my two mates.

"Tae. Come on, don't be like that," Jimin whispered, reaching over and tugging at my shirt. I didn't respond, staring at the wall with a blank look. "Tae. I'm sure he doesn't think you hate him. You're just not very good at expressing your feelings."

I stayed quiet, letting out a breath. "Go to sleep," I said. I heard him let out a sigh as we let sleep consume us.

^Jungkook's POV^

"Talk to Taehyung," Jimin said, as I helped him lay the bed.

"Why? Is everything okay?" I asked.

"Just talk to him," Jimin brushed it off.

I nodded and made my way to Taehyung's room, entering only after getting permission. Upon my entrance, Taehyung looked up at me, his gaze boring holes into my face. I shyly looked down at my fumbling fingers.

"J-Jimin told me t-to talk to you?" I said although it came out as a question due to my nervousness.

"Yeah sit down," he said, gesturing towards the chair across the table. "So after you fell asleep yesterday, Hoseok told Jimin and me something." He looked at me with a raised eyebrow. My heart skipped a beat and my body grew hot under his intimidating gaze.

"L-look. I know that I sounded like I was having a problem or was suffering from something, but I'm not. I swear. I'm perfectly healthy," I lied straight through my teeth. Taehyung looked at me, confused.

"Well... first off, good to know you and I are not on the same page in one chapter. We'll get back to your mental health. Getting back to what Hoseok told me... You think I hate you?" he asked, his face blank as he studied me. I squirmed under his heated gaze.

"N-no?" I responded though it came out as a question. I mentally cursed myself for also stuttering.

"Jungkook," Taehyung sighed out.

"A-a little. I'm sorry," I confessed in a small voice.

Suddenly, he stood up. He opened a drawer and took out the keys to his car. "Come on," he said. Is he going to drive me to my death?

Silently, I followed him, my head hanging low and a small pout dancing on my lips as we passed Namjoon in the halls.

"Hey, where are you going? And why does Jungkook look like a bunny who's going to be eaten by a tiger?" Namjoon asked. Taehyung stopped in his tracks and looked at me. I took a step back in shock, looking between the two in confusion.

Taehyung gently grabbed my wrist and pulled me to his side. "I'm taking Kook out. We'll be back by dinner," he said. Without another word, we left. Taking me out? Like assassinating me or taking me out to hang out?

He opened the door for me, letting me sit comfortably before buckling me in. I thought chivalry was dead, and from Taehyung's actions, it was. However, babying a teenager was apparently not.
