Pt. 56

"Home" I smile as dad drives the car to the airport

"Aren't you gonna miss France!" Dad chuckles sarcastically

"Well dad can't say I'll miss your fighting. But the gorgeous city? Yeah. I know I'll be back someday" I smile looking out at the city

We get to the airport where the private jet is waiting.
The pilot is waiting at the bottom of the jet stairs.
We get out of the car and I notice the pilots face go blank when he sees Steve

"Uh dad. I don't know if I'm the only one who realized this. But, Steve can't come to the states.." I say looking at Steve who then looks at dad

"I just kind of didn't say anything.." Steve says awkwardly

"Dammit- I have some calls to make" dad says in a rushed tone

We sit on the jet, not taking off until we know Steve can come with.

"Hey Mr. Secretary" dad says confidently calling the man as he appears on the screen

The secretary is adjusting the screen as he sits in his office. God I did not miss him

"Afternoon Stark. And lovely y/n" he nods with a confident smile back

"Hey" I say with fake happiness

"Something you need?" He asks with a sigh

"It's Steve, Ross I know-

"Stark. If this is about letting him back in you know it isn't gonna happen." Ross shakes his head immediately

"Come on Ross. Hear me out." Dad urges

"Stark..."

"He isn't a danger to society. He won't be running around New York in a spangly outfit. And he won't cause and harm.... Come on Ross the guy just wants to be with his family" dad says

"You know I can't let him in." Ross says seriously

"Ross. He signed the new accords and I can give you my word. He will not give you a reason to deport him." Dad says confidently

"Tony...I'll have to call a meeting with the UN" Ross shakes his head writing something on a paper

"Ross- um Steve doesn't have anywhere to stay for the night. I have to take him back with uh us" I say as confidently as I can following dads lead

".. I shouldn't let you.. but fine.. as long as nobody sees him" Ross says sternly

"Understood! You won't regret this!!" I laugh and smile as dad hangs up

"Steve you can come with!!" I shout jumping around as Steve just smiles at me

"Thank you so much Tony" Steve smiles at dad greatfully

"It was nothing" Dad looks down and smiles softly

Long jet ride back to New York Woo-hoo!!! I cannot wait to be home with Dad and Pops who will have nothing to do but sit around and be my parents! YAYAYAYAY.
I close my eyes and take a nap while hearing Dad talk to Steve about my plans for starting college.
Landing in New York now I dress Steve up in a black had and sunglasses. With the beard it's pretty hard to see it is him.

"HAPPY" I yell running down the steps of the jet to hug Happy who will be driving us back to the tower

"Nice to see you again kiddo" Happy grunts as I jump on him engulfing him in a hug

"Guess what. Guess what. Guess what!" I exclaim over and over

"Did you have caffeine or something??" Happy asks watching me bounce around
