"Y/n waiting by the door won't make him get here any faster." Dad chuckles watching as I sit on the floor by the elevator
"Yeah okay, dad you have been sitting in that same spot since I said he was on his way. So don't call me out" I yawn scratching my head
It is now Monday morning, today Peter should be arriving. I texted him when I woke up that he could come over whenever he wanted and he said he is on his way. It is now 9:30 am, and yes I am on the floor checking my phone waiting for Peter to get here.
"I think both of you should just chill out" Steve says handing a cup of coffee to dad
"This is a big change Steve." Dad smiles upon seeing the cup of coffee
"Hey since Pete is living here. Can his secret be out?" I ask
"Uhh- welll I mean it could. But it's up to him. So I guess we will have to talk about it" Dad says unknowingly
"Cool." I smile and go back on my phone
We end up playing Mario Kart since Peter decides to take forever.
"Come on last lap!" I exclaim turning the last corner
"Mr. Stark!! I hear Peter exclaim and I look over to see Happy and Peter coming in
"Peter!" I smile dropping my remote
"Yeet" Dad smiles throwing his remote on the couch and then going to help Peter with his bags
"Pete you're here!!" I smile hugging him as we both laugh
"Thanks for making the drive Happy" Dad smiles
"Next time you have to pay me.. The kid didn't shut up the whole time" Happy tries to say quietly
"Aren't you excited!?" I grin picking up one of Peter's bags for him
"YESS" Steve exclaims and we all snap our necks to look at him
"I uh- won" Steve smiles softly putting the remote down
"Doesn't count!" Dad says defensively
"Oh come on" Steve says like a toddler
After a while Peter and I finally have his room all set up.
"You have no clue how happy I am to be here" Peter says softly looking around
"Oh trust me, I remember how happy I was when I first moved in here" I giggle a little
"Thank youuuuuuuuu!" Peter hugs me
"For what, you're the one who impressed my dad" I laugh a little hugging him back
"You being friends with me made me become like a god among others at school! Literally Flash was so jealous! Haha, but no seriously thank you. I couldn't imagine life without you or any of this" He smiles
We sit in a comfortable silence before I speak again
"Our dad." I smirk
"What?" Peter asks
"I said my dad, but I guess I'll have to share him now huh?" I smile at Peter and his face lights up
"Awesome" He smiles to himself
"Oh! and I call Steve pops, but feel free to call him whatever" I say before getting up
"Sweet I'll remember that"
"Kids!! Lunch!!" I hear dad yelling from the kitchen
"Come on Pete" I smile as he jumps off his bed
