Aster and Marco were at Echo Creek High, helping to set up for their school dance. Marco was sitting on top of a ladder and putting up a banner.

"Yeah, don't mention it...actually, why are you even going? Do you even go here?" - A
"Yeah? You're just never around when I'm at school. You're usually off in another dimension or fighting shadow kins." - Marco
"ShadowKhan. We discussed this, Marco." - A

He said while getting up.
"Then tell a teacher?" - A
He said as ge was getting up as well. He noticed Janna waving at him next to the bleachers.

He walked over to her.

"I got the thing!" - Janna

She opened the pink box she was carrying to reveal a homemade cake with 'Welcome Back Bon-Bon' written on it.
"Ohhh, man. I completely forgot about that. I promised to go with Marco to the dance!" - A
"But our seance..." - Janna
"Mm..." - A
"This is a once in a hundred year event. What're you gonna remember more? A school dance? Or a dead clown seance?" - Janna
She said while showing him the cake.
"Mm...fuck it." - A
He walked back to Marco who was grinning ear to ear.
"What's got you in such a good mood?" - A
"Jackie Lynn asked me to the dance! And I said yes!" - M
"Finally...I don't get why you two are unofficially dating if you couldn't even work up the nerve to ask her out. But good for you, bud! Anyways, I have to bail on the dance." - A
"What? Why?" - M
"I promised Janna I'd do a dead clown seance with her." - A
He shrugged.
"Ohhh...well, I guess it's fine! This works perfectly for both of us." - M
"Exactly! I was worried you'd be upset. But anyways, take these." - A
