Jackie had unfortunately been sent to jail, and was believed to be responsible for the theft of both the talisman and the pink puma. But Aster and Jade managed to escape capture by paying a visit to Mewni while the cops looked for them on Earth.
They eventually returned and visited Jackie in prison.
"Happy thanksgiving Jackie! The big meow is comfy-cozy." - J
"...huh?" - JC
Aster rolled his eyes.
"We have it." - A
"Chlamydia?" - JC
"What? No! That doesn't even make sense! I...The thing that Viper left behind." - A
"Yeah, I slipped it in my bag when nobody was looking for it!" - J
"Hand it over the police! We can prove my innocence." - JC
"Yeah, about that...we kinda need it to try and get Viper to trade the talisman for it." - A
"But then how am I gonna get out?" - JC
"Captain Black will clear everything up. Don't worry." - A
He said, trying to ease Jackie's worries.
"Mm...fine. But keep Jade away from Viper! She's a bad influence." - JC
"Yeah, yeah." - A
He said before he and Jade eventually left.

Aster and Jade were back at the hotel; watching TV and eating cereal. Atleast until a news report came on saying that Jackie had broken out of prison. Aster and Jade both spit out their cereal.
"Wow...I never thought he'd be such a bad boy. He's usually got a stick up his a-..." - A
He looked down at Jade.
"He's usually really big on rules...whatever. Now that he's out, he's probably gonna head here or look for Viper. I can track him." - A
Jade nodded as Aster cast a spell to locate Jackie.

Aster and Jade found Jackie waiting under a bridge. Viper appeared as well.
"Invisibility? Guess I was right." - A
He said as they approached the two.
"You've got what I need?" - V
Jade nodded while pulling out the pink puma.
"This is a felony!" - JC
He protested.
"You do want your little toy back, right?" - V
Jackie groaned.
"Fine! Just hurry!" - JC
He said as the trade was done.
"You've got a sharp mind, Jade. You have potential." - V
"I do?" - J
"Yeah, maybe just not in your line of work." - A
He said as he pulled Jade away and the trio began to head back to the hotel.
"Jackie! You should ask out Viper! She would be such a cool aunt!" - J
"I have no time for dating!" - JC
He said while Aster inspected the talisman. He couldn't feel magic from it... He gave it a squeeze and it crumbled to pieces
