Omni, Hekapoo, and Rhombulus walked through the portal that Aster had opened for them. It lead to a large field on Earth, where a table was waiting. Eclipsa, Moon, Meteora, and Marco were all waiting there.
"What are they doing here?" - Hekapoo
She asked, referring to Meteora and Eclipsa, and reached for her scissors. Rhombulus prepared to crystallize everyone and Omni opened up a portal to allow his giant fist to come through in case a fight started.
"They're the true heirs of the Butterfly Kingdom and the people you swore to aid. Show some respect. And besides, if they wanted to attack, wouldn't they have done so?" - A
He asked as he joined the women at the table. Marco was standing by Aster's side as his guard, with Eternity, Asmodeus, and Glossaryck acting as witnesses to everything. Eclipsa waved the magic wand in greeting, proving Aster's point. Instead of attacking, she put it down in her lap.
"I've got my eye on you..." - Rhombulus
He warned Eclipsa as they sat down across from the royals. Meteora growled, her arm expanding a bit as her monster half started to influence her. But Eclipsa put a hand on top of her daughter's.
"Don't mind them, dear. Their words can't hurt me." - Eclipsa
She reassured. Meteora stayed calm but still shot death glared at the people who stole everything from her.
"What is this meeting about?" - Omni
He asked.
"We're here to discuss the terms and conditions of how the Magical High Commission will operate moving forward." - Moon
"Why did we have to do that here? We could've done this on Mewni." - Hekapoo
"It's a neutral ground. Neither the Butterflies or the Commission have an advantage here." - Moon
"Can we hurry this up? I have people to crystallize." - Rhombulus
"About that. All three of you have been proven guilty of treason against the Butterfly Family. You will be punished." - A
"And how exactly do you plan on doing that?" - Omni
He asked, sensing this was less of a meeting and more of an ambush.
"None of you are immortal. Or above Mewman law." - A
He warned.
"Everything has been decided. Your only job is to abide by the new rules set for you." - Moon
Hekapoo stood up.
"Why should we do anything you say? You're working with them! She's the queen of darkness, and she's a-!" - Hekapoo
"What? A monster? Go ahead. Say it. Give me a reason to break those horns off!" - Meteora
She threatened, standing up as well.
"Calm down. This doesn't have to get ugly." - A
"...Glossaryck?" - Omni
He asked, turning to their leader.
"I stay out of politics." - Glossaryck
He said, ignoring Omni's plea for help. Which left the Magical High Commission at a pretty decent disadvantage...
"...we'll hear these conditions." - Omni
"W-wha?! Omni!" - Rhombulus
He whined.
"Be quiet." - Omni
He silenced Rhombulus. Aster allowed Meteora to read the terms of their punishment, which was like extreme community service. As well as the conditions for them to keep their jobs. The biggest one was that they'd answer to the council, as well as Glossaryck.
