day 65

When Tim woke up that morning he'd almost forgotten about the Gamemaster's message. It was only once he was showered and ready that he remembered. Specifically because his door had been locked, this was either some sort of cruel trick from someone else in the house which he wouldn't put it past them to do or the Gamemaster operating the actual lock. A bell chime was answer enough for Tim.

Shall we start with you, Tymoteusz Rubio?

He shuddered at his full name being displayed on the screen. Tim walked around to stand in front of it. "Unlock the door."

When I'm done with all of you all the doors will be unlocked.

"All the... Everyone's locked in??" Tim questioned in worry.

I need to keep you all in place, don't I? I also can't have anyone reading in on private conversations.

He frowned at the words.

What's with the pout? I know you like have control of everything around you but you can't play god forever.

Tim scoffed. "You can't talk to me about playing god."

It's sort of what I am. I get to choose whether you live or die, I know your sins and I'll punish you for them how I see fit.

"If you're talking about sin, I'm not the one you should talking about."

You like passing up blame, don't you? No wonder no one liked you on day one... They don't like you now either.

"Tch... Shut up... Wait, no one liked me??" A sudden wave of self consciousness washed over Tim. "Day one, are you serious?"

Your precious kitten didn't trust you one bit. Hell, she trusted the actual serial killer more than you.

Tim was about to say something else but stopped himself, he had to keep in mind that the Gamemaster was purposefully trying to start conflict and he couldn't let him succeed. Whether this was true or not it was best not to show how affected he was. "I don't care what she thought of me back then." He lied.

And she's all over you now?

He scowled again, his dark blue eyes turned away from the screen. Tim didn't look back when the bell chimed again, he was too frustrated. But then it sounded again and he had to see what was being said.

You're allowed to ask me questions too... Can't guarantee I'll answer but asking is permitted.

There were many things Tim wanted to know but he was reluctant to rely on the Gamemaster in any way.

Come on, don't be shy.

I know you're scared of me because you can't manipulate me. You don't need to act tough, I know just how weak you really are.

"What do you even get out of this?" Tim fired back at the screen. "You say it's for entertainment but... Why not just... Do anything else, something more legal. I know you have the money but surely activities like this are hard to pull off."
