day 90

"Eli!"

(Y/n) lazily glanced away from the darkened horizon to the source of the noise to see Tim standing above her and Eli.

"...yes?" Eli wasn't sure what aspect of his existence had pissed off Tim this time.

Tim angrily pointed to (Y/n).

Eli and (Y/n) looked at each other, both confused what Tim was so mad about. It didn't make sense for him to just be jealous because she spent time with other people all day.

"(Y/n), come on, we're going inside."

She inwardly sighed, if this was a repeat of what happened when (Y/n) spent the night with Eli then she wasn't bothered to stick around for the fight when it would end the same way. "I'll see you in the morning." She said to Eli, giving him one last hug before she stood up.

He nodded up at (Y/n) and just let her leave, even Eli knew that it wasn't the time to have yet another spat with Tim.

He really couldn't wait until that guy was dead.

(Y/n) sat on the edge of Tim's bed and winced as he hurried around his room, picking up several items but then putting them back down.

"Are you...? Are you good?" She ventured at saying.

Tim paused and released a long held sigh. "No, (Y/n), I'm not good. I'm actually pretty stressed out because-" He started pacing around his room again while raking his hands through his longer hair. "Because I feel like I'm going to die in ten days."

(Y/n)'s lips parted but she ultimately decided against saying anything.

"Nothing to say?" He asked while glancing at her. (Y/n) lowered her gaze shamefully and Tim scoffed. "That's what I thought."

"Tim... I really don't know who I'm going to pick yet but don't you think this time would be better spent doing things that make you happy instead of worrying." She advised.

"Instead of 'doing things that make me happy' I'd much rather do things that keep me alive... I never focused on being likeable in your eyes and now... Ugh! How do I make you love me?!"

(Y/n) flinched back at the sudden increase in volume, Tim noticed this and chuckled a bit. He walked closer to her and crouched down to be at eye level.

"I do love you." (Y/n) whispered out.

"Fine... How do I make you love me more than the others?"

She shook her head and shut her eyes. "That's not-"

Tim grabbed (Y/n)'s chin, stopping her speech in an instant.

"That's not what?" He urged her to continue.

"I love you all equally." She said in anguish.

"That's impossible." Tim let go of her and stood up. "You only say that because you know you won't pick me."

(Y/n) wondered if he realised how counterproductive grilling her like this was.
