day 76

(Y/n) slammed her bedroom door shut. "What's wrong with me?!" She cried out aloud, she was already ashamed to be doing that stuff with Dottie but saying that was just... (Y/n) wished she could punch herself in the face.

The memory plagued her mind:

''I belong to you'... Why would I say that? Fuck! I'm such an idiot!'

(Y/n) could only hope Dottie wouldn't take it to heart. She looked over at the screen and glowered.

The Gamemaster in whatever ivory tower he was sat in was enjoying this, watching (Y/n) debate with herself and slowly begin to give up.

"Say something, you prick, I know you want to." She spat.

The screen just showed what time it was, no bell, no message. (Y/n) rolled her eyes, whenever she actually wanted him to say something he was silent but when she wanted him gone that was when he wanted to strike up conversation.

It was almost time for dinner, well it would've been time for dinner if they were sticking to their old timetable. (Y/n) couldn't ever be sure now where or when her next meal would come, she would always be cared for but it was out of her hands who by.

As if he'd been reading her mind, the door opened as she thought this.

"Hello, kitten." Tim sighed happily, his eyes glowed with devotion when he saw her. "I'm just letting you know that I'll be starting up on some dinner for us."

"Can we have it together?"

"Of course, you and I can-"

"I mean, all of us, like Dottie, Eli, Owen and Hana too." She said. "You can't pretend they don't exist."

"I'm not interested in seeing them." Tim snarled. "And I don't think they'll want to see me either."

"Tim... You have to know that this is unfair. Can't you all put your egos aside for me? I'm really not asking for much, it's just too strange to live with five other people while you don't live with each other."

His lips turned down. "We'll fight, you don't want us to fight, do you?"

"Of course I don't... But we don't know how long we're going to be here for, you all need to learn how to be in the same room without killing each other." (Y/n) said, she reached out and touched his arm gently. "Please?"

Tim looked down at the hand that (Y/n) had placed on his forearm. He huffed. "Fine."

"Really?!"

"I'll try to get everyone together at dinners and for weekly meetings again, okay?"

(Y/n) gave Tim a small smile and nodded. "Thanks."

Tim brushed his hand over (Y/n)'s hair, he found it quite pitiful of him that he'd associate himself with the people he'd like nothing more than to see dead just for (Y/n) to smile at him, the tiniest glimmer of happiness. It was reward enough for him.

The tension nearly choked (Y/n) when she walked into the dining room. No one was looking at each other, she almost felt bad for bringing them together when it clearly made them so miserable. However that misery subsided when they saw her, bright smiles replaced the anguish and boredom that had previously covered their faces.
