"Are you fucking kidding me?!" Amelia snapped, as she walked into the boy's locker room, making Mason and Corey to look at her with wide eyes, while Liam made a spad noice "Scott textes me, to tell me that you're not out on the field and I am finding you here moping?!" She asked Liam incredulously.

"He's still heartbroken because of Hayden." Corey told her, making Amelia to roll her eyes.

"Liam, you're an idiot. Get your sad ass up and get out on the field! Now!" She snapped at him angrily.

Liam just made a noise "Hayden left me." He whined, making her roll her eyes.

"She moved. To protect her sister. And it's not like she dumped you or anything." Mason said and he and Corey put Liam's gear on him.

Amelia's phone buzzed making her pull it out and sigh "Scott says Coach is losing it. You need to get out there." She told him.

Liam just made another noise.

"Scott's leaving, too. And so are you and Zander." He said as he tried to fall forward but Amelia, Mason and Corey pulled him up.

"We're going to college, Liam. Going to college is not leaving. It's called growing up, maybe you should try it." Amelia told him and Mason nodded in agreement.

"And we all are going to be going to different colleges eventually." Mason told him.

Corey look at him confused "I thought we were both applying to UCLA?" He asked making Mason shoot him a look and made a cut throat gesture across his neck to stop Corey from talking.

Liam looked at Mason with an appalled expression.

"You're going to the same college, too?" He asked and Amelia sighed as she ran a hand through her hair.

"That's not the point, Liam." She told him.

Corey gives up on trying to put Liam's jersey on, and Mason grabs Liam's lacrosse stick before shoving it into Liam's arms, grabbing his helmet and sticking it on the end.

"Then what is the point?" Liam asked them as Mason and Corey each take one of Liam's arms and lift him to his feet.

Though he does nothing to bear any of the weight of his body, causing Mason and Corey to stumble in their effort to drag him out of the room.

"The point is that summer's almost over. We're about to be seniors. This is about to be the best year of our entire lives, and you're still captain of the lacrosse team, so come on and-"

When Corey and Mason attempt to drag Liam backward out the locker room door, they trip on Liam's feet and all three of them tumble to the floor.

Amelia sighed deeply and pinch the bridge of her nose.

"Alight, get up. I'm getting really sick and tired of your moping shit." She said before she pulled Liam up and dragged him down the hall.

"Just because you and Hayden broke up and people are going to college soon doesn't mean your entire life is over. Just focus on your senior year and lacrosse. You'll be fine." She said.
