"Do they feel better," I asked Ba Wei as we made our way back to the living room

"Do they feel better," I asked Ba Wei as we made our way back to the living room.

"They were fine before." His tone was flat, and if I were to guess I'd say that he seemed annoyed. I ran a hand through my hair and cursed myself under my breath. Ba Wei flopped down on the chair and I followed soon after. Ba Wei switched on the Tv and once again turned to cartoons.

"Cartoons again," I said trying to lighten the mood, but it didn't seem to work. The blatant dodge of conversation made the already awkward atmosphere even worse. I mentally cursed myself and sighed. If you wouldn't have acted like a dick he wouldn't be acting like this. I'm so stupid.

A couple of minutes of silence passed with just the sound of the Tv filling the room, and I couldn't help but yawn. I looked over at Ba Wei to see that his eyes were closed and I couldn't help but raise an eyebrow. Is he asleep in this short amount of time? I leaned foreword a bit to inspect more closely and he appeared to be fast asleep.

"Ba Wei," I called. I had thought that he would answer me, but the only sound that left him was a soft snore. My eyes widened in astonishment. So cute.

His head was resting against his arm and his face was calm. I quite liked this face more than the ones he's shown me willingly. He seems unguarded when sleeping, and deep down I felt a sense of happiness that he would sleep around me.

I sat there staring at him for a few minutes before turning back to the cartoons on the Tv. I couldn't help but smirk as I thought about the guy beside me. He was the only person around my age that still enjoyed cartoons. It's even cute that he does. He had more childish ways than I ever thought he would have.

I tried to focus on the show that was playing but my attention had turned to the now cold temperature that had taken over the room. I don't know how it got so cold so fast but it did. The large shirt I had on didn't help at all with keeping me warm. I glanced over at Ba Wei and an idea came to mind. No.

Despite my mind objecting to the idea I slowly scooted over on the couch until I was pressed against Ba Wei's side. He shifted in his sleep for a minute and my body stiffened.

I looked up at him thinking he was awake but to my surprise he wasn't. He is a deep sleeper. I was about to let out a sigh of relief when I felt his arm wrap around my shoulders. My eyes widened as I felt his hand slowly slide down to rest by my waist.

I waited a few minutes until I knew he was asleep again before I let out the sigh that I had been holding. I glanced up at him one more time before laying my head on his shoulder. I couldn't help but relax because of his body heat. What is he gonna say when he wakes up to me on him? In response to that question my face began to heat up and I lifted my head off his shoulder. Maybe this is too much.

I glanced up at Ba Wei before I started to try to scoot back away from him, but the hand that was resting by my waist quickly stopped me. Is he awake?

In a panic I tried to move away more aggressively, but that didn't work in my favor either. That only caused Ba Wei to grab my waist and pull me closer to him. My face was beat red as I continued to struggle to get out of his unconscious grip, but I had no such luck. I sighed and reluctantly laid my head back on his shoulder. How can someone be strong even when unconscious. This is not fair.

Minutes passed by fast, and with those minutes I became more sleepy. I don't know if it had anything to do with the body heat that I was receiving, but it was becoming even more difficult to keep my eyes open. I let my eyes slowly close and the last thing I felt before I slipped into unconsciousness was something warm pressing against my forehead.

——

When I woke up later that day I was very comfortable, a bit too comfortable. Whatever I was laying on didn't feel like the couch . I slowly opened my eyes, but was only met my darkness. I moved my legs slightly and felt with my hands for a second before realizing that I was in a bed. When did I get back in this room?

I sat up and rubbed my eyes. I was about to get out of the bed when I felt someone move beside me. My body stiffened and I turned my head in that direction. Even though I knew who laid in the bed beside me I didn't want to say it. I can just get up quietly and he shouldn't notice right?

I was about to try to get up but for some reason I felt like someone was staring at me. I stared at the space beside me for a minute before I raised an eyebrow. I'm being paranoid. I went to get up again, but stopped abruptly when Ba Weis' voice sounded from behind me.

"You make a lot of noise you know."

I didn't say anything and after a few minutes the guy beside me began to move. I was about to question what he was doing but before I could a light cane on.

I blinked a few times and my vision cleared up. I was indeed in his room, and in his bed. I turned around and was met by the bare chest of Ba Wei. I took in a sharp breath and looked away quickly.

"Were you awake this entire time," I asked as my face heated up?

"No, I woke up after feeling you move."

"Oh," I scratched the back of my head, "sorry."

"It's fine," he yawned out. "I'm actually glad you woke up before dark."

I raised an eyebrow and turned to looked at him, "why?"

"You have to go home don't you?" I nodded my head and looked down at my hands.

I knew I would have to go home, but I didn't think it would be this early or sudden. Was he tired of me? Did I annoy him to much? I had so many questions running through my mind and all of them were left unanswered.

"I washed your uniform," he said as he climbed off the bed, "they should be in your bag at the front door.

Although he kept talking after that sentence, I didn't hear any of it. I was too distracted by his perfectly sculpted body. His entire upper half was bare and he wore loose gray sweatpants that fit snuggly on his waist.

"See something you like," he said with amusement in his voice. My eyes snapped to his and my face became even redder. How embarrassing. I slid out the bed and started walking towards the door. "Wait."

"What," I asked as I stopped walking?

He tossed me a pair of shorts, "put those one they might be slightly big on you."

I nodded and walked out of the room. I walked across the hall to the one I was sleeping in to see the bed stripped bare. What the hell?

I walked into the bathroom and it too was cleaned. The toothbrush I had been using was no where to be found, and the sink looked as if it was never used. How strange.

I walked back into the bedroom to see that my phone was sitting on the bed. I grabbed it and turned it on to see that it was two in the afternoon.

"That was a long nap," I said aloud.

I sighed and slipped into the black basketball shorts Ba Wei had just given me, and they indeed were slightly too big for me. I couldn't help but wonder how Ba Wei knew how they would fit. Even right now looking at his waist, he definitely wore a different size; so we're these his old shorts? Above that I wonder why he's deep cleaning this room? So many questions...
