9 hours later.

Back in the tent with the Warriors, Ed swings his arm around as he counts to ten, wincing a bit with furrowed brows and a lifted chin and panting for a bit, yet the speed and flow of the swing remain consistent in many ways, almost as if the bullet was nothing but a flesh wound to him, at least when Tany's healing spells come t play on situations like this. It's certainly a miracle to have someone like her around to help out in tending the wounds that can reach many fatal degrees on most living beings.

And yet as he finishes swinging his arm and looks at his holster, his hand trembles for a bit while giving a long gaze at it, his eyebrows then drawing together as he rubs his chin as well while distant chatter between Malak and Amira is heard on the left side. The wounds from the outside may have been tended to, but the ones on the inside still need to be tended to, lest it leads to something reckless on Ed's part, ever since Tany's memory flash with Diego.

Damn it... Why now, brainy? Why are you telling me that it's possible at this very moment...?

Clenching his fist, he moves the hand away from the holster as he sighs. Never has any period of time driven him to a moment of uncertainty like this one.

But just as he's about to try anything else, static noises are heard inside the tent, enough for Ed to tilt his head backward and crouch down while approaching the tent. Inside, it's that of a laptop attached to a chrome portable router as Seiner types while the signal logo loads.

"You sure this would work out, Seiner?" Logan asks while sitting next to Seiner, Tany and Rian as he types on the laptop.

"Getting through firewalls in places like this ain't a piece of cake, you know, so don't rush me," Seiner replies.

"We get it, you should know that we're in freaking Zlocan territory, and there are no break times in those places," Rian adds with arms crossed and eyes closed. Seiner sighs in response, at least until the noise vanishes and the screen shifts into Sly's office, where the colonel himself observes through his seat with a slight smile on his face.

"So, how's the field trip, my fellow Warriors?" Sly asks.

"Well, to start with, Tany-" Seiner tries to explain only for Tany to cover his mouth with a summoned tape and leans toward the screen.

"Oh, nothingly nothing! Just a bit of a scaredy trick by someone that I used to know, but it's all settled now, we just kicked baddie asses!" Tany adds with a wide smile on his face. This only makes Sly cross his arms in response while raising his left eyebrow.

"Tany, I got most of the info from Jack already. You thought that I could fall for it like it was a preschool show?" Sly says. Tany sighs and pouts while removing the tape from Seiner's and moves away from him.

"Pardon the interruption but yeah, aside from that SNAFU, we got to take care of some enforcer units."

"Would those be those who worked at the police department in the city?"

"Yeah, and somehow, they're worse than we thought." Logan and Rian nod in response while Sly glances away for a bit while rubbing his chin. After a while, he glances back at the screen.

"Well, guess you took some of the smaller fries, but reports from our agents tell us of enforcer units far deadlier than the ones you faced against. One of them is reported to be active in this area, one called Steelhound."

"And what's so dang special about 'em?" Ed asks as he leans near the screen.

"Well, it's said to contain the most highly skilled members of the police department back then, even though it's likely they got most of the training from the Zlocs and their pretty tech."
