The next morning had rolled past our heroes and with an early start they managed to reach cyllage city. (I probably butchered it) and after a brutal training session before our heroes set out ash and David are quite confident in their abilities to defeat the gym leader.

Ash: alriiiight!!! Here I come cyllage city I'm going to be getting my 2nd gym badge!!!

David let's out a sigh before walking up to ash with a look of determination on his face.

David: And so am I!!! C'mon Kirlia!!

David, ash, pikachu and kirlia run foreward towards the gymnasium where the gym leader resided at. David and ash had determined looks kirlia was having fun on the back of his lover whilst pikachu hung onto ash's shoulder.

David: do you want to have the first bout?

Ash smirked before nodding forming a fist with his left hand.

Ash: thanks, I'm totally gonna win.

David and ash reach the gym in a little under a minute with massive grins on their faces. Serena, clemont and bonnie struggling to keep up with the massive amounts of stamina the two striving pokemon masters had.

The two stop at the gym before walking in to only be amazed by a large rock wall covering the entirety of the gymnasium.

Ash: this is the cyllage gym?

Ash spoke with confusion, an exhausted serena with a deadpan expression let out a sigh.

Serena: y-yes *gasp* it-it is. Wow, you two sure run fast.

Clemont was in a similar situation heavily panting whilst bonnie had a deadpan expression with a comical ghost exiting her mouth.

Clemont: you two g-go on ahead we'll catch up with you.

The two pokemon trainers scan the gym until pikachu shouts and points to a man climbing the wall.

Pikachu: pikapi pika (look is that the gym leader?)

Kirlia looked up before nudging David and pointed to the man.

David: hey you're right, OIIII MISTER GYM LEADER WERE HERE TO CHALLENGE YOU

The man stopped climbing and turned to face the two trainers.

???: ahh, well what can I do for you two?

David pov

"Were here for a battle, we desire our next gym badge do you think you can help us with that?"

The man smirked before throwing himself up onto the gym battlefield.

???: of course, climb on up.

Time skip to after ash and David climb the rock wall.

"Heh, alright. Let's do this.... huh?"

In a comical fashion I look around to see ash already infront of me with a pokeball in hand.

Kirlia nuzzles my cheek before pointing to serena and then others on the side of the gym behind some guardrails.

"It'll be alright. Ash will make this quick."

The battle concluded with ash getting the cliff badge. And now it was my turn.
