ch15 The emergence

The next day has come, David and kirlia have been discharged from the pokemon center and are now on their way to the next city to gain another gym badge.

David for the day prior had to explain to serena about the. Ehem intimate session with kirlia it order to prevent a misunderstanding and boy did it take alot of courage for David and kirlia to speak about it.

But however, this only sparked a few fires in her heart as she now had eyes for ash in a more Romantic way then before. Much more romantic.

Ash: ahh, I'm so glad we got to go to the beach yesterday. Oh David did you get you're gym badge?

David: I did, thank you. Also ash, when we get to the next down we should have a 3v3 pokemon battle for our training. It'll be a good idea in the long run.

Kirlia: kir kir, (yeah our last match ended in a tie. Pikachu we still have to see who the victor is.)

The pikachu brought up a fist and comical amounts of lightning sprouted from his cheeks ultimately agreeing with the fairy type.

Pikachu: pika pi pikachu (yeah we need to battle again. It was alot of fun, maybe a triple battle?)

David had a curious look on his face as he turned to ash. A grin forms as David picks up kirlia and places her on his shoulders.

David: you know, a triple battle is not such a bad idea. Who knows it might be alot of fun. What do you say kirlia?

Kirlia smiles before humming placing her arms onto her trainers head.

Kirlia: hmmm kir (it will be alot of fun.).

Clemont: if you want a battle theres a battlefield at the next town we can use. I'd love to watch a battle between you two.

Serena: yeah, it'd be such an amazing battle.

Everyone was in agreement except for bonnie and when serena went to question what was wrong a loud grumble excited her stomach a blush forming quickly.

David smiles before looking up at kirlia.

David: you know, the battle can wait. How about we go out for lunch, the next town is just up ahead.

The idea of having lunch brought ash to another grin as a comical thought bubble appeared. The contents were sushi, pasta and other rather delicious dishes.

Everyone agreed on the plan. Lunch first and battle next. Kirlia smiles before pulling herself closer. David chuckles to himself at the clinginess of kirlia.

David: kirlia what's gotten into you that tickles.

Kirlia: I'm happy is all, that and you are very cozy.

David smiles as he lifts a hand for kirlia to hold. She gladly accepts it as the town comes into view.

David: what do you think? Having fun so far on this journey?

Kirlia held onto her trainers hand, she leans forward placing a kiss onto his cheek.

Serena: s-say David, you haven't sung in a while. Could you perhaps sing us a song?

David looks up to kirlia and smiles.

David: of course, give me a second.

He took a deep breath before humming a melody that was a bit cliche but he had good memories with it.
