A few months passed by and Cedric and I were happy than ever before. I had spent a few nights in his dorms, not that way, but just talking and sleeping with him. His friends have been very nice to me. They held a few parties in The Hufflepuff Common Room, I was always invited, being the prefect's girlfriend. And I used to take the others with me, the more the merrier, isn't it? The parties were always amazing.

It was the time of the last task. We were in charms class and I was sitting next to Rafael. Professor Flitwick was talking about 'Bombarda' charm and its effects. I wasn't really paying attention because 1 – I already knew that and 2 – the third task was tomorrow. I was worried for Cedric. And Harry. With the looks of it, Harry wasn't paying attention either.

Rafael nudged me lightly and I snapped out of my thoughts. I looked at him and he nodded in the direction of Professor Flitwick. I looked at him, he was raising his eyebrows, waiting for me to answer.

Answer what? I wasn't paying attention; I didn't know what he asked of me. I stood up, thinking it would buy me time and cleared my throat ready to answer.

"He asked what is 'Bombarda'" Rafael said lower than a whisper so that only I could hear.

"Erm, yes, Bombarda is the incantation of a charm used to provoke small explosions; one use for this explosion is to blast open sealed doors or to blow bars off of windows" I said and he smiled.

"Yes, very well, Miss Middleton. Oh, and do speak to me after class" he said. I sat down and he continued with his lecture. I answered correctly, didn't I? Then why does he want to speak with me?

"So, dreaming about Cedric, are you?" Rafael asked me and I looked at him and blushed.

"No!" I said quickly, which was true, because I was thinking about the task and well, Cedric. Maybe I said it too quickly, because he didn't believe me.

"I am worried, the next task is tomorrow. Ced and Harry are just-" I said and sighed.

He placed a hand on the small of my back and said, "They are brave, really brave. Nothing will happen to them. Stop worrying" I smiled at him and continued with the class.

The bell rang and I started packing and went to Flitwick's desk.

"Yes, Professor. You wanted to speak with me?" I said as I placed my books on a desk.

"Ah, right. The Third Task is tomorrow. After all of your classes are over, visit the music room and gather all the students for the choir and practice" he said tidying up.

"Practice for what, Professor?" I asked nervously.

"Your first performance" he said looking up, "The last task requires morale building, so you being the lead, will have to sing in the Great Hall, before we proceed to the grounds" he completed and jumped from his stage.

"Alright, Professor" I said smiling slightly, and headed to my next class.

The rest of the day went as usual. I had my afternoon free, so I thought to gather all the choir students and go for practice. We practiced till dinner and left for the Great Hall. I went to Gryffindor Table and sat down next to Harry.

"Where have you been the whole afternoon?" he asked as I took some chips on my plate.

"Busy, but there's a surprise for you, before the last task. All of you" I said as I took a bite from my plate.

"What surprise?" Ron asked and I furrowed my eyebrows at him and swallowed the food that was in my mouth for me to speak.

Because you shouldn't speak with your mouth full.
