"Who is it from?" Ginny asked me as I opened the small box that was kept on my table. By the wrapping I knew it was from Draco. But when I opened it, I saw a silver ring, that Mr. and Mrs. Malfoy had, even Draco. There was a letter with it. I shrugged and opened the letter.

Dear Olivia,

Merry Christmas, sweetheart. I hope you and Draco are doing well. He hasn't been writing to me much, now – a – days, do you plan on giving me grandkids now? I'm only joking, love. Tell him to write me back. I know he might be busy with what's going on. But do tell him to write to his mother on Christmas Day at least. This ring is what all Malfoys wear. I have it, so does Draco and his father as well. I know you already wear a lot of rings, but you should have it.

All the love,

Narcissa.

"Draco's mother" I said smiling a little

"Draco's mother" I said smiling a little. I pulled the ring out of the box and wore it on my ring finger. I wasn't wearing Draco's ring anymore. But what did she mean by 'what's going on'?

What was going on?

I had been suspicious from day one. Teachers and Aurors guarding me all the time. I knew something was wrong. And Draco hadn't told his mother about us? He didn't tell her we broke up.

Ginny and I headed to the Great Hall for lunch. I was dreading to go and see Draco. I enjoyed every bit of last night and he was right, I don't regret it, not even a second. But how could I fall back like that? Plus, he was telling me why he did what he did, why the hell did I have to run away?

I was playing with the food, not having any intention of eating it. I sighed and looked around. Ginny, Harry, Hermione, Ron and I wore sweaters that Mum had sent us as gifts. They were all talking and smiling. Everyone was. Around me. I looked around to see Draco. Even he seemed happy.

I put my fork down and cleared my throat. "Hey, I'm not hungry, so, I'll just play the piano or something, see you in the common room" I said standing up.

"Where are you going?" Harry asked grabbing my wrist.

"Music room"

"The piano's right here. I am sure everyone would love to hear you; it has been ages" he said politely. I nodded and went to the stage.

Draco's POV

Last night was amazing. I devoured every inch of her body. I was feeling happy. But the storm wasn't far away. We needed to act fast. We needed to protect her. At any cost.

I nodded to whatever Blaise was talking about, I had no idea what he talked about. I saw Olivia stand up from her table, but Potter grabbed her wrist. I wasn't still accustomed to boys touching what's mine. I frowned but let it slide, because after what was going to happen in a few months, she will need her friends.

I saw her walk up to the stage where a piano was placed. A few students stayed back. McGonagall had requested all the parents of younger children to take them home, since Hogwarts was or more Olivia was under a threat, clearly oblivious to it.
