Chapter 41 - The Parties

I was getting down from the train at Kings Cross, when I saw Blaise and Theo, approaching me. I put my luggage down and smiled at them. They smiled back and engulfed me into two huge hugs. Of course, them being taller than me, they had to pick me up.

Theo put me down and said, "Olive, we heard you are organizing a party this summer. Care to invite us?" he asked normally, like nothing had changed. And that was what I needed. Like everything was back to normal, not people treating me, like I was a fragile little glass piece, that would break at anyone's touch. Glad that they acted normally.

"Yes, I am. But it's my inner circle, Gryffindors mostly, I don't think you'll enjoy yourself if you came, given that-" I said and they cut me off saying, "-we hate Gryffindors"

"Exactly!" I said as Draco came beside them. I turned around when someone tapped on my shoulder, it was Rafael.

"I hope that you're not annoying my girl- Olivia" he said quickly correcting himself. What was he going to say? The boys beside him snickered. I turned back around and said, "Would you excuse me a minute? I'll be back" and I went to talk to Chris and the others.

Draco's POV

I was waiting for my luggage when I saw Blaise and Theo hug Olivia. My jaw clenched, I know they didn't mean any harm nor were they interested in her, which I still don't believe, because almost every boy wanted to be with her.

I went over to them and put a hand around their shoulders and said, "I hope you're not annoying my girl- Olivia" I quickly corrected myself, while the boys snickered. They knew that I liked her. Luckily, Olivia turned around when I said that. 

"She is not your type, Malfoy" Theo said from beside me and I looked at him and asked, "Yeah? And why is that, Nott?" 

"She is very polite and kind and caring. Whereas you are rude, and just an all around dick" he said looking at her.

"You know what they say, 'Opposites attract'" I said smirking.

She came back and said, "No, Draco. They weren't annoying me" and she blushed a little. Did she hear what I said? She just makes me nervous; no other girl has had that effect on me, no one makes me nervous, but she did.

"Good" I said and went beside her, putting my hands in my pockets and looking at her. "So, what's this party I hear about?" I asked looking at her.

"Erm, just my inner circles" she said and I cut her off, "Argh! Gryffindors"

"Hey!" she said, lightly hitting me on my shoulder, "I'm a Gryffindor too"

"You're the exception, darling" I replied as I put an arm around her.

"Well, we were thinking that we could come by the house, of course, after your party with the others. Some other day, perhaps. We could go to a high-class restaurant, dress up and meet" Blaise said looking at her.

"Yes, that sounds fun, Blaise" she replied sweetly.

"You can also bring Daphne" she said and waved at her.

"What?" Blaise nearly choked and it was fun to see her mess around again.

"We all know you like her, now come on" she said pulling his cheeks lightly. I chuckled and said, "She got you there, mate"

"Ohh yeah, well she might be interested in know-" I realized what he was gonna say, so I quickly pushed him and yelled, "See you later, Middleton"

"What is the matter with you, Zabini?" I whisper-yelled at him.

"I thought you wanted her to know" he said as we stopped for Theo to come back.

"Yeah, well, of course, I want to. But Merlin, Zabini, let her move on, properly. She just lost her boyfriend" I said looking at her. Theo was kissing her cheeks, I furrowed my eyebrows at him.
