A minute passed and Im still staring tall infront of her waiting for her to say something.. finally I got irritated.
"Ashiana is there.. I mean anything you want to-....... to tell me?"
Finally i said, just to give her an push to say something. I was eager to apologize but my alpha pride stops me from saying the 'S' word first. For all I know my mate must be overwhelmed that I took iniative to talk to her.
" ohh.......is it about.....you rejecting me?"
Slowly she looks at me, confused, then blinks a few times making her look like an innocent cute baby.
I bite the inwards of my lower lips to to stop my self from smiling.
" uhuh is there anything you want to say regarding that?" I urged
" well............. I..."
" yes.. you aaaaaaa- are????" I asked eagerly. Urging her to continue..
" I mean.. ehem...Im....Im sorry?." s
he said while looking at me with the look that says 'what else do you want to hear?' look.
I was a bit nervous that she would not say the 'S' word first but As soon as I heard her apologized, a relief flooded my senses...it is like a heavy bagaged has lifted on my chest. My wolf howls in my mind, happy that our mate seems to wants us back too and was sorry about her acceptance..and just as I was about to apologized too-
" Im sorry that I was your mate.. I can.... totally understand why did you have to reject me. It was.......uhmmmm .....painful?.....yah it is....!"
Ashiana said while none stop nodding seemingly trying to convince me that it was really painful.
"But it was bearable.. we cant help it if you feel that way right?"
She added with a sympathizing look.. like trying to convince me.. that what happened is inevitable.
I was speechless at what she said, but was at a loss even more when she added
" even I.. if I was in your shoe I would reject me too..so I totally understand.. no bad blood Alpha.... " Raising her eyebrow as if making sure I was listening. And then with a faint smile she said her last piece that totally had me broken
"Nevertheless I think it is best that we just....- uhmmm...forget everything... and move on...."
and as if she wants to lift the ambience she tried to make her voice sound jolly like she was reassuring a close friend
" Im sure the moonGoddess will bless you in the future with a much more worthy mate? A Second mate perhaps"
