She tilted her face to his and he bent and kissed her, wrapping his arms around her.

His first kiss was so sweet and gentle but soon the heat had stirred both of them.  His tongue slipped in her mouth and she was jolted by the intimate sensations he was creating.

His hands began roaming, brushing her breast, cupping her bottom to press her against him.  She squealed in surprise to feel him hardening against her.  She was lost in the way he was making her body feel.  She welcomed his touch, arching against him and allowing him to touch her as he pleased.  A huge rumble of thunder shook them from their haze and he pulled his mouth from her reluctantly.

“So very sweet,” he whispered as he pulled away.

He turned her to sit on a bench she had not noticed before.

He nodded as she looked around.  There was a very small nook in the clearing, basically pavilion with a fountain and a bench.

He bent and kissed her once more and smiled.

“Wait right here,” he said, “I have a surprise for you.  Close your eyes.”

Her brain was telling her to be careful but her still thrumming body was anxious for his kiss, his touch to resume.

“Count to ten,” he instructed.

She nodded and began to count.  She could hear rustling in the distance and jumped at the thunder.  She hurried the rest of the count and opened her eyes.

Lightening flashes revealed she was alone.

She sat still for several minutes in the silence, straining to hear footsteps, and movement.  Finally, she felt relief as she heard people approaching.

But relief turned to fear as she heard the voices.  It was impossible to determine where they were coming from.

“What is the stupid bitch doing?” a girl asked, her voice vaguely familiar.

“She's just sitting there like an idiot!” another girl answered. The laughter of a dozen  people drifted over her.

They were making fun of her. She felt tears well in her eyes.  They had seemed so nice.

They were just jealous because he had brought her here, had kissed and caressed her.  She held onto that thought.  He would be back soon and none of that mattered.

Then suddenly, terribly it did matter as she heard his voice.

He was somewhere close; he would come get her and kiss her and give her the surprise.

Except he did none of these things.

“What are you losers doing back here?  I thought we were drinking at the pool!” he said.  The voice that had just whispered “so sweet" in her ear was unmistakable to her.
