"... goodnight, Masumi."
Haruki and Shisui each bade their son goodnight as he drifted off to sleep between his parents, receiving a kiss on the forehead from each as his droopy eyes finally succumbed to the beckoning calls of slumber.
Haruki smiled at little Masumi as his grip on the blanket relaxed, finding himself straying towards oblivion while his parents exchanged broad grins.
"What's with that look on your face?" mused Haruki in a hushed voice, immediately reading the look of want on her partner's face.
"What's with that look on your face?" shot back Shisui teasingly, registering it in his mind that he and Haruki were on the same wavelength.
"You obviously want something."
"And so do you, Haruki-chan."
"On the count of three, okay? One..."
"Two..."
Haruki and Shisui both sat up straight, shooting each other wishful glances.
"Let's have another kid!"
